Jim Johnson discusses how private equity firms bring operating partners into roofing companies. Light Bay Capital's Aaron Shockey and Steve Stagner, who came from Mattress Firm, are examples of the 30 partners they deploy, many with retail and digital marketing backgrounds from Walmart and Jet.com.
And the cool thing is so not only do we have our internal team, Jim, you know my cmo, my, my CFO they have operating partners. And so I have about 30 operating partners who work directly from my private equity companies who have unbelievable skill sets like my Freeman Smogey. They have a CMO kind of partner and she was an executive at Walmart. She, she, she was one of the executives@jet.com so she is phenomenal at this type of stuff. My CMO partner at Light Bay Capital, Aaron Shockey, he's fantastic. He worked for Neiman Marcus. He was one of their top folks on the digital marketing side in Neiman Marcus. So that's what the roofing company, that's what we have at IHS now. So if I have concerns my executive chair who runs our board, his name is Steve Stagner he was one of the foundational brands at mattress firm franchisees and they became the CEO and took that company public to now it's I think three or four billion dollars.
