I know scaling is a bit of a buzzword, and it gets used to describe all different kinds of things, but the fact of the matter is, is that there's actually a true black and white definition to what scaling means. So I mentioned earlier that person who has 10 things on their plate that they're supposed to do, and as our volume increases, their ability to do those 10 things starts to diminish. Well, scaling isn't hiring somebody else who can do 10 things. Scaling is hiring somebody who can take five, five of those things off of their plate. It's actually easier to find somebody who's good at doing five things than to find somebody who's good at doing 10 things. And so what happens is, is as we begin to reduce the scope of what somebody is responsible for, we should see fewer mistakes and greater levels of excellence because their focus has been narrowed. And that is what scaling actually is. And this is the stage in your business where as your volume increases, the scope of responsibility for each position in the company can begin to shrink, hopefully allowing people to do better at the things that are left on their plate to do.
