It is critical to build just what you need when you need it. You don't probably need to have a full time dedicated HR person when there's only like 5 of you in the whole company. Right? There's somebody handling those duties and responsibilities, probably in addition to a bunch of other stuff that they do. But there are stages to this where it matters that you have this, and then as you grow and you get bigger, then you're going to need to add these things and add these things and add these things. Plus, there's actual just straight up compliance rules in your state, whichever one you live in, that are going to dictate to you what things you need to have so that you can stay compliant.
