So yesterday I got to do this. You know, it was a cool panel. We had some really elite contractors that were up on the stage at this event. And I wanted to ask questions that were different, you know, not ones that you normally hear at a panel. Because I kind of knew who the guys were and they, I knew they all kind of got things done. Done differently. And so this guy believed this way in marketing and this guy believed this way in recruiting and that kind of stuff. Why do you think that is? Like, they all had a different way of doing it, but they all still got to the same end result. Why do you think that happens?
I think it primarily has to do with them knowing who they are. As an example, I'm not 6 foot 5, 6 foot foot 10. Right. So I'm probably not going to be a star center in the NBA. So I probably shouldn't be aiming or training for that kind of a thing. This is not who I am. And so knowing who you are has an impact on knowing what things you should do or what you're strong at. If you're really good and love knocking doors, then knock doors. If you don't want to do that and it's not something that you feel you should do, then don't do that. It doesn't mean that you're going to be any less or any more successful than somebody else. I think the other key to this thing too, is understanding what success means to you.
Absolutely.
If you don't know what your definition of success is, then you're always chasing somebody else.
Yeah, it's like this idea of what do you believe in? Right? Like, do you. Do you believe that the cars and the planes and the boats and all that stuff is what you're after? Cool. Do it, man. Absolutely. If you believe in it, you think the, the pursuit is worthwhile, go for it. But that's the thing. Like, those guys all believed in kind of different ways of approaching it. And they like, if you got one of them to try and go do the other guy, he's like, that doesn't work. But it obviously does. But it works for that guy because he believes in it. And that's that whole, like, everybody's trying to find this silver bullet to solve all their problems. The silver bullets inside, you already have it. You know it, you know who you are. Build off of that.
Yeah, you gotta find it. Doesn't mean it's easy.
No, but.
But finding your own path is definitely gonna be a better way to go. So. Yeah.
Cool. Awesome.
