A short conversational excerpt from a YouTube video where Jim Johnson and another speaker contrast two leadership styles—visionary (charismatic, future-focused) and integrator (grounded, process-oriented)—and emphasize that leaders must continually strive to improve, warning that self-satisfaction can lead to stagnation.

As a leader, it's something that's consistently negatively impacting other people all the time, then that's something we do need to put some focus on.
That's why you see the visionary integrator thing. The visionary leader has this charisma about them. They have goals, they see things in the future, they chase, and they're after it all the time. And then that integrator leader is a person that's more grounded, tries to do objectives step by step, wants process and stuff. And so if you understand that I'm this type of leader, and I am good at that, never say, if you ever look in the mirror and say, I'm a great leader, that's your downfall. You can just expect to start going downhill from there. If you're not constantly striving to exceed where you currently are as a leader, you become stagnant.
