So as you know, IRAs, they're not liquid until you're 59 and a half or you're over 59 and a half. And then you have some choice control once you pay your taxes on what you can do with your IRA money. Most IRAs are not safe in the conventional sense with any principal protection. It's all subject to market risk and what the market is going to do.
