Howard Whitson, a senior wealth manager at DeVere Group in Shanghai, talks about building a personal brand in wealth management. He founded Wealth Without Borders and has spent years establishing himself in the Chinese market, where communicating value requires a different approach than Western markets.
Hello and welcome to this episode of Speak PR. My name is Jim James and this is the podcast for everybody that's got value inside their organization and is just looking for creative and low-cost ways to communicate that with their prospective audiences. And today I'm delighted to have an old friend, Howard Whitson, who's joining me from Shanghai. Howard, ni hao.
Hi, James. Ni hao. Hello, it's very good to be with you today.
Now, Howard is a senior wealth manager at the DeVere Group and also the founder of the Wealth Without Borders initiative. And he's on the show because I've known Howard for many, many years while I was living in Beijing. And he's someone who struck me as knows how to build a brand, not just for the company, but for himself. Howard, tell us what you're doing now and how have you been building a brand around wealth?
Thank you, Jim. So for me, I'm a senior wealth manager in the dreaded realm of financial planning.
