Hi, my name is Jim James and welcome to PR FAQ. You are watching us live from our East-West Beijing studios. And today's frequently asked question is, what are the dos and don'ts for getting a job in PR, in public relations? Well, we get hundreds of people wanting to work in an agency. So, the first thing that I would say do, do make a phone call. The phone rings louder than an email. So, do follow up after you send your CV. The second thing to think about is agencies are paid by clients to get noticed. So, you need to do the same. You need to be proactive. Do get on the phone. Do even turn up to the office. So, do be proactive. What not to do? There's only one thing not to do. Don't give up. If it's what you really want to do, you've got to keep working at it. Don't give up and you'll get the job you want in PR. Good luck. If you want to send us your FAQ, write to jim@eastwestpr.com or follow us on Twitter @EastWestPR. Thank you.
