Jim James previews an episode on delivering presentations that engage audiences instead of relying on slides. The speaker argues a great message needs a comfortable delivery, a strong opening hook, one core idea, and a clear call to action.
If you want to know how to get noticed, this show is for you. I have interviews, tools, tips, everything that an entrepreneur could need in order to help their organization get noticed for free. Thank you for joining me, Jim James, on The Unnoticed Show.
We always tell our clients, you, you need to animate your audience, not your slides. So say that you have a great message, it's not enough. You also need to be able to deliver the message in a way that's comfortable and convincing. If you think about it, when you give a presentation, it's their presentation, not yours. It's always the audience's presentation. Think of a presentation as a present. So one key thing to consider is the idea of simplifying the message. If everything is important, then nothing is. And then maybe just one thought: how do you hook your audience at the beginning? How do you capture their attention? How do you develop your key messages? How do you end your presentations with a very clear conclusion or a, or a clear call to action so that they actually do something after the presentation? So it's also about structuring the presentation in a way that makes it easier for the audience.
