Entrepreneurs who try to control everything kill their own growth. You have to delegate, hire people smarter than you, and trust your team. Steve Jobs said hire people smarter than yourself, and he meant it.
When control goes up, growth goes down. How do you help entrepreneurs that are in their comfort zone? They're almost in flow in that I'm needed position. Well, for me, that's the big mindset shift. The common ones are, I'm the best one and the only one who knows how to do this part of the business. So a lot of the time they have to trust and we've got a principle that says, When control goes up, growth goes down. So when the business owner says, I'm okay to empower someone or a team and a lot of, and actually let's go and find on the 7-odd billion people that are on the planet, someone who's better technically on what I think I'm actually great at, right? Is let's go and get a better person. Steve Jobs said that, that, you know, you should be going employing people smarter than you. So this is where that, I think there's a huge mindset shift. And when people allow that, that control to be, you know, tapered, they grow the business.
