In this informal travel vlog, Jimmy Butler III and his friends document a post‑NBA‑season getaway to Anguilla, focusing on the tiny sand spit known as Sandy Island. The group arrives seeking a break from the pandemic‑era restrictions, hoping to decompress and spend quality time with family and friends. They explore the island’s beaches, attempt water activities like a banana boat ride, paddle‑boarding, and swimming, often commenting humorously on the rough water and their own clumsiness. A recurring thread is a friendly rivalry over dominoes: Simone Khanna, the island’s restaurant manager, presents a special set of sand‑crafted dominoes, and Jimmy boasts about his skill while teasing the locals. Throughout the vlog, the participants share light‑hearted banter, pop‑culture references (e.g., Baywatch, Zac Efron, The Rock), and reflections on how COVID protocols limited their options, prompting them to make the most of the activities available. The narrative culminates in a toast to Anguilla, gratitude for the shared experiences, and a hopeful look toward future vacations and upcoming basketball finals.

My God!
This water nasty.
Yep.
Oh, never mind, that's for my life vest.
We got to get on the banana boat now.
Huh? Whoa!
Nope, something touched my foot.
Nope.
Nope, something touched my foot.
Yep, fool me once.
Hold on now. I'm swimming this way, but I'm going the opposite way. Something ain't right.
If you know me, you know I love to travel. It was very difficult to do so but we made it work. After looking through some travel destinations, I came across Anguilla, which is in the Caribbean, maybe, I think? I wanted to find some time to decompress, to free my mind, to be with my people, to be with my loved ones. [SPEAKING CREOLE] Our first destination, it was Sandy Island.
I manage the restaurant here on Sandy Island. Sandy Island is just a small spit of sand located just off the coast of Anguilla.
Yo, I look like I'm in Baywatch.
This gave me my first real taste true experience with the Anguilla natives.
Very friendly, very warm people.
What you laughing at? Yo, I'm trying to star in a movie. I'm trying to act. Baywatch 2 coming out. Zac Efron, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Trying to get in on that. Hit me!
Oh, damn! I hope that ball going over.
That was a good throw too.
And of course, everywhere we go, no matter where you're from, how often you play this particular competitive game, This one I'm gonna beat you with.
No, you can't beat me.
You crazy. No, I can beat you. I'm the best in the world. In the world. Look.
As you guys may or may not know, Angola's my hometown and has been voted best place to visit in the Caribbean. Not once, not twice, not 3 times, but 4 times in a row. A special batch of dominoes, especially for Mr. Butler. They are made specific of the sand from Shore Bay Beach, which is the number one beach in the Caribbean. I'm just happy that we were able to bring them for him. And the look on his face alone made it all— made it all worth it.
Oh, you was filming? I'm sorry, Miss Ma, I'm so sorry. You go ahead. You get back to doing what you was doing. But don't lie and say that you can beat me in dominoes.
All right, cool. I got you. I got you.
She can't beat me, y'all.
So we took our domino charades to Anguilla, beat up on everybody. I think they got a wanted poster of me up on every corner. How they say it in Anguilla?
World.
World.
We the best in the world, you know. Best in the world, you know.
Me and my people got to run around, throw the football, dive in the water, and just talk. That's what we do all day, any day anyways. But to experience it there in Anguilla, Sandy Island, it just hit a little bit different. Due to COVID, In specific protocols, we had limited options of things to do. So I made it my goal to enjoy what we had access to. Day 2, not a good start because my trainer's son Dom hustled me.
Nice!
Thank you!
Anyway, I knew I had some fun planned for the rest of the day. We're gonna look at some caves. We're gonna jump off some rocks. And they, they were even gonna pull up on a plane crash site.
Very good.
Thank you.
Boom!
There we go! Come on, man! There you go!
Nice! Baby steps, baby steps. This one is—
oh, oh yeah, my paddleboard.
Gonna work on my surfing. That's the most stable one we have. That's the most stable one? Maybe let's go to keep it down. Goddamn, this water nasty. Oh shit, nope, nope, don't touch my foot. Nope, don't touch my foot.
Only once.
Hold on now. I'm swimming this way, but I'm going the opposite way. Something ain't right. If you want to go full 7S, you just tap the green button.
Yeah. Woo!
That water is mad. There we go. Once you figure the speed, you're more stable. James, I'm working on my course.
And I'm so glad that I got to experience in Anguilla, in a tough time at that, realize that, but still just to be able to be around great people and to be around my family, I wouldn't trade any of that for the world. So here's to Anguilla, here's to winning the finals next time, and then going on another great vacation.
Okay, good? Ready.
Hi, my name is Simone Khanna, and I manage— Which— Where should I be looking? Directly into the lens? Into the circle?
Okay, cool.
Hi, my name is Simone Khanna.
Look, I don't know if y'all filming or not, but Miss Simone here said that she can beat me and my partner, Mac, in dominoes, and I'm just not going for it. So after y'all might be able to do it, or might not be filming. We gonna play these dominoes. Yeah, oh, you was filming? I'm sorry, Miss Simone. I'm so sorry. You go ahead. You get back to doing what you was doing. But don't lie and say that you can beat me in dominoes.
