In this vlog-style video, Jimmy Butler III introduces his YouTube channel and delivers a motivational monologue about why one should strive for greatness—not for money or fame, but for personal respect and daily discipline. He emphasizes that daily routines build champions and that loving others and doing something great for them makes the world better. The video is filmed in Vancouver, British Columbia, where Jimmy and friends celebrate their friend Angel Roberts with a hike to the top of a trail, describing the experience as phenomenal. Interspersed throughout are casual, humorous exchanges about dominoes, market availability, and witty banter among the participants. The recurring motto, “It’s not about the view, it’s about what you love to do,” underscores the message that passion, not scenery, drives fulfillment.

This is Jimmy Butler III, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Whatever you want out of the game, you can have, good or bad. Why do you do it? Why do you want to be great? Is it for the money? Is it for the women? Whatever reason it is, be great. Be the best that you can be. I don't care about the money, the fame. I just want to win, and I want to gain everybody's respect. Ain't about one game. It's about what you do every day. And our daily routine builds champions. You just gotta love everybody. Smile, do something great for somebody else. You know, for that second, the world is a better place. We are in the beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. That's where we're at. What we're doing here, celebrating a great friend of mine. Angel Roberts came out here, and the one thing that all of us have in common that we didn't do before was go on a hike. Main thing, Competing, obviously.
When it comes to the essentials, my dominoes.
So they gotta try to say that the dominoes are marked and we play with a different set almost every game. And for some reason, I still always win.
So that's not part of the hook?
Right, no, that's the verse.
[MUSIC] I don't got no lady. He's available, he's on the market. He's on the market, guys.
But I will say he kept me on my toes because he was extremely, Witty.
Hiking was phenomenal. Oh, I'm going to throw up. Made it to the top.
I've done what they say couldn't be done.
So at the end of the day, it's not about the view, it's about what you love to do. That's my motto. It's not about the view, it's what you love to do.
I am so happy to be here.
