What if I told you that building a major business won't matter if you fail at home? I've talked to thousands of incoming franchisees. They wanted financial stability, but they were no longer prepared to sacrifice everything else. A man once told me that he quit his job Simply because his 4 year old said, dad, I wish you could have breakfast with us. That moment hit me hard. He didn't leave for more money. He left for his family. I know of a man, brother of a close friend, who had all the money he could want. He was actually a lot richer than me. But his family life was messed up. And he ended up killing himself. We're taught to chase business success, to sacrifice time, family, even our health, because we think it'll be worth it one day. But if you build something that costs you your peace, your relationships, your kids growing up without you, is it really success? Build your business, yes. But build your life around what matters. Otherwise you're just climbing the wrong ladder.
