Hey JJ, what do you wish people knew about carbs and building muscle?
Here's what I want you to know about carbs. Stop fearing carbs because they really help you work out harder. Now here's the reality. This— when I focus on eating carbs is actually after my workout because I want to fuel for my next workout. That's why I'm not the biggest fan of keto if you're trying to put on muscle. Here's the other reality with keto that gets me crazy. People do keto because they want to be able to burn more fat. Well, do you want to burn more dietary fat or body fat? Because they're not the same thing. So sure, keto can get you burning fat, but if you're overeating, you're not going to be burning stored body fat.
