The whole intermittent fasting thing, to me, it's with any diet. I want you to think of diets as tools, and there's an important thing to think of here. And a diet is a tool not just for something like fat loss or muscle gain, but maybe you're using a diet for detoxification, maybe you're using a diet to quickly improve your blood sugar regulation. So think about the end goal and what you're currently using that diet for. And the diet that you're using to achieve a certain result or heal isn't necessarily the diet you're going to use for the long haul. Case in point, I I think that the carnivore diet— and I had the pleasure of interviewing the amazing Dr. Shawn Baker on my podcast Well Beyond 40, you should check that interview out, he's fantastic— I think it's a really good diet as an elimination diet, similar to the Virgin Diet, right? I don't think it's a long-term diet. So this is a great one to use short-term, especially if you're having a lot of funky stuff going on, gut problems, etc. But then I want to see you pulling back in like the 30 different plants for the gut microbiome diversity and getting in the and all of that.
