JJ, can you rank for me your top 3 favorite protein sources?
Okay, so number 3, wild-caught salmon. Now, of course, there's more fat in this, but here's the reality. It's got omega-3s and they are now shown to be anabolic. Number 2, I double dare you to have some grass-fed tartare. I just recently had this at Machu restaurant in Beverly Hills. This is amazing source of not just protein, but creatine for the win. And then take some Greek-style yogurt. And what you're going to do with that Greek-style yogurt is also toss in some collagen. Now collagen, of course, is an incomplete protein, but collagen plus the Greek-style yogurt together is a great hit for going and working out hard and be able to fuel your muscles and fuel your connective tissue. And as a bonus, sardines. Okay, reality is I hate them. I'll never eat them. You'll never catch me eating them. But boy, if you will eat these little tiny Omega-3 packed, protein packed fish, go for it. It may not taste the best, but they are incredible for you. They also don't smell the best, so don't eat 'em on a plane.
