Hey, it's J.J. here. You know, I've been talking about environmental toxins forever, and laundry detergent is a sneaky one. A lot of them contain harsh chemicals like dyes, preservatives, and even UV brighteners. Those brighteners don't actually clean anything. They just coat fabric so your eyes think things look whiter or brighter. That's more chemicals I don't want on my family's sheets or skin. And if you've got sensitive skin or allergies around the house, this can be a big problem. That's what got my attention about Earth Breeze. It looks like a dryer sheet, but it's actually laundry detergent. You toss one in the washer and that's it. No pouring, no mess, and no heavy plastic jug. Their packaging is lightweight cardboard, which helps reduce plastic waste. And if you choose the fragrance free option, it's gentle, hypoallergenic, non irritating and non sensitizing. I really like how simple it is and how fresh and clean everything comes out without those unnecessary chemicals. Right now you can try Earth Breeze for up to 40% off with free gifts@earthbreeze.com virgin that's earthbreeze.com virgin for up to 40% off plus free gifts on your first order. Hey JJ here. There are a plethora of supplements that I've highlighted in my book. Some really important ones that I'll share with you today. First, vitamin D is one that is crucial. It has an effect in boosting our immune system, a potent anti inflammatory effect on our system as well, and is involved with 10 to 15% of our gene function and gene expression. It's really ideal to get vitamin D for sun exposure. However, supplementation is equally as effective. It's important to get your blood levels checked so that the levels of vitamin D are in a therapeutic window. Your physician can help you with this. I personally had levels that were sub therapeutic and I actually lived in Florida and was in the sun a lot but because of my dark skin I was unable to produce vitamin D and convert it effectively from sun exposure. Another supplement that I like is Curcumin which is the active ingredient in turmeric. It has profound anti inflammatory benefits. When taken by itself. The effects are localized to our GI system and can help with inflammatory bowel disease and other GI inflammatory disorders. However, when you pair it with a fatty oil such as olive oil or with black pepper, it has greater bioavailability which means that there's more circulating in our bodies and in our system and that essentially can reduce whole body inflammation. Another supplement I like is and I advocate for is fish oil. It has tremendous benefits. It contains omega 3 fatty acids that are essential in reducing inflammation, blood pressure, cholesterol, depression and also reduces the risk of cancers like breast and prostate. It also helps offset the heavy inflammation caused by consuming the standard American diet. Lastly, CBD oil is probably my most favorite. I didn't discuss this in the book as I found this out later after the book was published. The benefits that it has on the body, I take it every day. Actually I take it at night. It helps reduce inflammation and improves pain caused by inflammation. It reduces the anxiety and depression and best of all, it aids with sleep. I found that I've been able to achieve a greater amount of deep sleep when I take CBD oil before I go to bed.
