You know, I've been talking about environmental toxins forever, and laundry detergent is a sneaky one. A lot of them contain harsh chemicals like dyes, preservatives, and even UV brighteners. Those brighteners don't actually clean anything. They just coat fabric so your eyes think things look whiter or brighter. That's more chemicals I don't want on my family's sheets or skin. And if you've got sensitive skin or allergies around the house, this can be a big problem. That's what got my attention about Earth Breeze. It looks like a dryer sheet, but it's actually laundry detergent. You toss one in the washer and that's it. No pouring, no mess, and no heavy plastic jug. Their packaging is lightweight cardboard, which helps reduce plastic waste. And if you choose the fragrance free option, it's gentle, hypoallergenic, non irritating and non sensitizing. I really like how simple it is and how fresh and clean everything comes out without those unnecessary chemicals. Right now you can try Earth Breeze for up to 40% off with free gifts@earthbreeze.com virgin that's earthbreeze.com virgin for up to 40% off plus free gifts on.

All right, so I travel a lot. Not right now. I'm grounded right now. But I've decided that when I was traveling 70% of the time or more, that my morning routine, wherever I was, had to be critically non negotiable. And this is really important. It is critical that your morning routine becomes a non negotiable routine in order for this to really work. And the way I've done it is I've put together my three M's. Here they are. Let's see if you can guess. They are. Mindfulness, movement, and mission. And then there's a bonus coffee. So I get up in the morning, and if I'm really lucky, I'm with my husband, and he brings coffee to me, which is just like the best. And we start my morning with bulletproof beans. I don't do the whole bulletproof thing. I just have a black coffee with bulletproof beans whenever possible. And. And what I do first is my mindfulness, because this really frames the day. And I will, in full disclosure, tell you that at the time of this recording, I am in my house, where we've been for the last month because of the coronavirus lockdowns. And we actually did it out of choice, starting four weeks ago. I think we got. Got the stay at home orders two weeks ago. And at first was really hard to not pull out my phone and start to look at all the bad news. And my husband had to finally make a rule about no coronavirus in the bedroom. Like, this is ridiculous. And what I found the first week was that I was short of breath. I was so anxious, I was irritated. I was in bad mood because I was starting and ending my day in negativity. So it is so super important that you start first with positivity and you can control this. So the first thing I do is I grab a great book. My girlfriend, Mary Morrissey of Dream Builder, sent me a box of amazing positive books that I'm working my way through. So I grab a book, and some days I might read a page someday, days I might read five pages, 10 pages. It's really like what I'm feeling like that day. But I have my book and my journal together with a pen. This is important, not my phone. And so I read whatever, however much I'm reading. And really I'm looking for, like, my inspiration for that day. That Cool piece of something. I go, ooh, that's good. And I write it in the journal. And then I write down what I'm grateful for that day. I make sure I write down at least three things I'm grateful for. And right now, with what's going on in the world with coronavirus, I am just so grateful that I have my family with me, that I have live in a great house where I can walk outside and get into the sunshine with my feet on the grass, and that we have enough stocks of food and supplements to get through this. I feel enormously grateful for that because just six, seven years ago that wouldn't have been the case. So big gratitude there. So that's the first part is mindfulness. The next part is mission. And my best brain time is in the morning. And so what I do in the morning is I always do some of my more important thinking work. Like this morning, I was working on an immune strong class that I am writing. So that's what I was working on. But whatever. My big global mission is to help a billion or more people get and stay healthy. One of the things that I've seen with what's going on with coronavirus is that people are starting to shift their focus, pivot towards prevention. They're putting their attention on prevention. And really seems like for the first time ever, it's not challenging to try to get people to really take charge of their health. And that is my big mission. And so I always do something related to my mission every morning because that's when my brain is on fire and I'm the most creative. And so that's when I like to take my time there. And then my next one is to get a little movement in. Now, I will tell you, now that I'm home, this has been working out much better than usual. If I'm home or if I'm home, I generally will do some cardio bursting or resistance training in the morning. Sometimes when I'm traveling, that can get a little bit more challenging, but I can usually get something in either running up and down the stairs at a hotel or something. So I always try to get something in because the greatest thing about movement is it all counts. Yahoo. So again, mindfulness, movement and mission. My three M's for a successful morning routine. This is JJ with Ask the Health Expert. I do this five times a week, so. So make sure you never miss a show by going to subscribetojay.com.
