You know, I've been talking about environmental toxins forever, and laundry detergent is a sneaky one. A lot of them contain harsh chemicals like dyes, preservatives, and even UV brighteners. Those brighteners don't actually clean anything. They just coat fabric so your eyes think things look whiter or brighter. That's more chemicals I don't want on my family's sheets or skin. And if you've got sensitive skin or allergies around the house, this can be a big problem. That's what got my attention about Earth Breeze. It looks like a dryer sheet, but it's actually laundry detergent. You toss one in the washer and that's it. No pouring, no mess, and no heavy plastic jug. Their packaging is lightweight cardboard, which helps reduce plastic waste. And if you choose the fragrance free option, it's gentle, hypoallergenic, non irritating and non sensitizing. I really like how simple it is and how fresh and clean everything comes out without those unnecessary chemicals. There's a lot of controversy about whether keto is good or bad for you. If you have adrenal issues, it's generally thought of being toxic to you if you have adrenal issues. Now there's a couple reasons here. Number one is that standard keto diet is very acid rich acidic. It's very acidic. In other words, it's very, it can be very pro inflammatory, especially in women as we age and we don't have as much protective hormones such as progesterone, DHEA and testosterone in our youth and with high reproductive levels of hormones then we have, we have a certain level of protection and for men too, 10 times as much testosterone compared to women. But women with adrenal issues have technically very, very low DHEAs, which is one of the key adrenal hormones that convert to estrogen and testosterone. And so adding a strict keto, bacon and butter, high meat, high fat diet can create some havoc, can create additional hormonal imbalance if we are not balancing it with key alkalinizers. Now I'm really big on this because I've lived it, I've been through the journey. I was stuck and hit a wall when I was doing straight keto beyond keto flu and added in the micronutrients because I noted how acidic my body had become. With testing urinary PH levels. Each and every one of you can get urine PH paper from any pharmacy drugstore and check your own urine PH levels and just see you want that over seven if you're very acidic. And mine was on straight keto, it was as low as the ph paper red, it was below 5. And I mean, must have been, you know, and when I shifted, when I realized that that was a huge aha moment for me. So I added in the microgreens and the broccoli sprout sprouts and the Swiss chard and the sauteed beet greens and kale soup and bone broth. All of these are rich in alkalizing minerals that really help soothe your body. And especially as women balance our hormones, the combination is game changing. And in my patients with severe adrenal issues, as well as myself with PTSD and high stress, when you combine the two, getting into ketosis with micronutrients, healthy, balanced micronutrients, you will feel tremendously better. And as you do that, your adrenal glands start to recover and your DHEA will improve, your adrenal hormones will improve, you'll feel better, rest more, and you can just dispel those myths of needing to eat three times a day and snack three times a day. I mean, that is just ridiculous. That is going to hurt your adrenal glands more than anything. So improving the way you're doing keto as well as taking time to have some feast days, but really concentrate 80% on getting into this keto green or keto alkaline state where you're combining a healthy keto diet with good food choices, with good micronutrients like cauliflower and broccoli and cabbage and broccoli sprouts. I mean, and adaptogens like maca, which is really powerful for your adrenal glands. Very supportive. Peruvian maca is honestly one of the best things that I found to help with adrenals as well. So definitely add that to your regimen when you're doing keto.
