Joe Fier breaks down the difference between being interested in change and actually committing to it. Interest lets you quit when things get hard. Commitment means you keep going no matter what.
Take any goal you want to achieve and ask yourself this question.
Am I interested in achieving this goal, or am I 100% fully committed to achieving the goal? When you're interested, fear is bigger than the interest. When you're interested, limiting beliefs get in the way. When you're interested, obstacles hold you back. When you're interested, you allow limitations to control you. When you're interested, you don't upgrade your knowledge and skills like you would if you were committed. Now, when you're committed, you upgrade your knowledge and skills. You upgrade your beliefs. You upgrade your habits. You ask anybody and everybody to help you, and you fully are committed to.
