A short conversational excerpt (YouTube) in which Joe Fier and another speaker discuss the value of finding like-minded people—"your tribe"—to generate energy, reduce self-doubt, and sustain efforts like dating, podcasting, or launching a business. The exchange emphasizes community, vulnerability, and inspiration as antidotes to imposter syndrome.
Find the people that are doing the same thing, and then you can do all those other things with people.
That's a good point. No, it's like, find my people. That's immediately. I feel like there's an energy thing to it not to get. It's not a woo woo thing. It's literally. It's like we feel better when we're having conversations around whatever that thing burning in us is, even if we haven't identified it. It's like we feel a little more like, I'm with my people, you know, like, I've landed here in the right spot.
Yeah. And it, like, gives you. It helps you just kind of, like, see yourself in other people. Because when you're stretching your comfort zone and you're putting yourself out in the world, whatever it is, whether you're dating, starting a podcast, wanting to start a business, any of that stuff, you know, it's so easy to get into that doubt, you know, imposter syndrome, all these things. And when you're around other people that are doing it too, you're able to be vulnerable and see that they're doing it. And that really inspires us, encourages you to. To be able to keep going.
