Short excerpt from a YouTube video by Joe Fier discussing the emotional closeness listeners form with podcasters via audio. Joe Fier emphasizes "audio first" for listener quality while acknowledging YouTube as a growth mechanism he is actively using.
I think about the podcasts that I listen to week in and week out. And, like, I hear that podcaster's voice more than most of my friends and family's voice. So, like, there's just a deep, deep level of connection that you can't get anywhere else.
Yeah, I love it. And that's the exact reason why I'm like, audio podcast. There's audio first. I mean, to be very honest, I love YouTube, and I think there's going to be that as a growth mechanism is interesting. And I'm actively doing a bunch there, organic and paid, starting there. But in terms of audio, like, just for the quality of. Of listeners.
You can't beat it.
