Joe Polish explains the concept of a "genius network": a crowd-sourced group of talented individuals whose combined skills can solve problems and create opportunities. He emphasizes that to acquire such a network one must first be a "genius networker" and actively do "genius networking"—approaching others with a focus on how to help them (be→do→have).

And there's some talented people that consult like that, where it says up on the wall, genius network. We're changing the world. Any problem in the world can be solved with the right genius network. And so I look as a genius network is a group of people or individuals that have skills and capabilities that can be applied to any problem, challenge, or opportunity that you have. And in order to have a genius network, you need to be a genius networker. And that means approaching people with what's in it for them? How can you be helpful to them? And if you're being a, how can someone be helpful to me? In order to have a genius network, you have to do genius networking. So it's the be, do, have. So be a genius networker. Do genius networking, and you will have genius network.
