And so part of relationship building is positioning yourself at the top of someone else's agenda. And I think the best way to do that is not through manipulation and sales tactics, is through usefulness, generosity, gratefulness. If someone really appreciates you, what is the economic definition of appreciation and depreciation? Look at it from a balance sheet standpoint. Things that go up in value and things that go down in value. I want to always be the person that things go up in value as much as I can.
