A short YouTube interview (Joe Polish interviewing Arianna Huffington) about entrepreneurial qualities and habits. Huffington praises entrepreneurs' willingness to follow their dreams, take risks, fail, and disrupt industries; the discussion also promotes her book Thrive, described as a 12-step practical guide that summarizes rituals and habits at the end of each chapter.
So I just want to ask you, for the listeners that are out there, many people watching this are entrepreneurs. They have dreams. They are building companies. They want to build companies. They want to make a big impact. What do you admire about entrepreneurs?
Oh, everything. Basically, entrepreneurs are willing to. To follow their own dream. They're willing to fail. They're willing to disrupt an existing industry. They're willing to really do it a different way and build a better mousetrap. And really, that's how the world changes. And I love the fact that more and more people now want to be entrepreneurs rather than follow the more traditional path of joining a company and climbing the ladder of success.
Yeah. Awesome. And what's great about Thrive is it's not just building a better mousetrap. It's about market the mousetrap better, but also don't get trapped in the mousetrap. And Thrive is a way to actually develop tremendous amounts of rituals and habits and skills. And it's very simple. And there's 12 steps, and it's summarized on each, at the end of every chapter on what to do and how to do it. And I want everyone to actually get a copy of this book. And thank you so much. You're awesome.
