A short conversational excerpt from a YouTube video ("What's In It For Them?", Jan 29, 2023) where a speaker introduces Joe Polish as a modest, former carpet-cleaning entrepreneur whose relational, no-ego approach has been personally transformative and influential in business and life. The speakers discuss Joe's style of connecting people and curating interactions.

It's all based around Joe, this former carpet cleaning guru who has no ego. He doesn't posture, he doesn't pretend to.
Be, like, this.
Big guy to, like, sell himself. And I don't know how Joe does it. And not everybody responds to it like I have, but for me, it's been completely revolutionary and life changing and has nothing to do with business. But ultimately, it ends up having everything to do with business.
And at the end of the day, this is really a connection network, because the opposite of addiction is connection. And I connect people. I want to be a curator of geniuses, and I want to just bring amazing conversations to amazing people. That, and I hope to curate a room of givers, not takers. People that are ultimately takers. They won't stay here long. They don't like it.
