John Pierre founded Empire Blueprint and unexpectedly moved into AI, driven by fear that hard work alone won't secure a family legacy. After three years with no clear results, he had a vision: use AI to improve people's lives over the next 14 months. He credits his perseverance to faith in God and what he calls a "magnificent obsession."

And when I set out to do Empire Blueprint, I didn't think I'd be doing AI. I honestly just thought that my father worked too hard, and the reward for working hard sometimes in life and in Western life is the family that you work hard for doesn't exist. That wasn't okay with me. And I also knew there was nothing I could do about it, but I wasn't going to not try. And so I'm emotional about it because now I can see a world for the first time in 3 years of laboring and not seeing anything. I can finally see a world where over the next 14 months we change people's lives for the better. And it was a grand— it was a grand thought. Some stage, I wonder what would happen if I dared to dream. But when I dared to dream and believed God through the process and found my magnificent obsession, nothing else really mattered anymore. It was the fact that every day I would rock up to work and I would think my hardest, and that I prayed through it all. Probably not as much as I should have, but I never really gave up on the belief that it was possible, because through God all things are possible.
