When I say connect? As a human, you don't go to your friend and be like, just text them, like, can I crash at your place for three days? You know, you don't go with that context, right? You'll be like, hey, how are you? You know, like, have some issues, going to be available. I need some help. You're not going to go and like, hey, yo, I need help. That's just not how you do it, even for your friends. That's why I said, like, when you connect with networks, don't think of them as a network. It's more like building community, friends, people sharing similar interests. And maybe one of those might become your best friend in the future. But that's why go and approach people, be like, hi, I need a job. Can you refer me first? It's like, yeah, do I know you? Like, how can I refer you when I don't know you? Right? First thing, right? That's the thing that you're screaming in front of, like, your head. It's like, no, but think about this. You hang in person the moment that you, like, start to exchange LinkedIn. It's not like, when you actually see that person. Be like, hey, can you scan my QR code? Get connect. Like, you say, hi, you're really. Hey, this is my name. I do this. Like, what you do, you know, maybe like, hey, you know what? Like, I'm sick of talking work. Like, let's talk about interest. Like, I'm a cat mom. You like cats?
