Hello, and welcome to the Secret Sauce of Outsourcing Podcast, the podcast that's dedicated to making you better at outsourcing your work. My name is John Jonas, and this is episode 46. It's Christmas Day in the Philippines, so if you're watching this when it comes out, today is December 24th. Although if you're seeing this in the morning or in the afternoon, today is already Christmas Day in the Philippines, since they're depending on where you are. You know, for me, they're 12 hours ahead of me, so it's already Christmas Day there. So what do you do today? Well, number one, recognize they're not gonna work. Number two, it's probably a good time to send them an email and say he Merry Christmas, happy Holidays, whatever you're gonna tell them, chances are really high that they celebrate Christmas. And then it's also a good time to, like, say thank you and to say how you're. How grateful you are and say, hey, I love the work that you do. Thank you so much. I'm so excited for that. We've had such a good year, and I'm excited for 2022 and for the year coming up and how good this is gonna be for us. So depending on your business needs, today's a good time to remind them of, like, what's going on for the next week. It's the 24th for you, it's the 25th for them. What's going on from the 26th to the 31st? Do you expect them to work for us? We tell them, hey, just a reminder, the next week is off for you. We don't expect you to work, but what I would like for you to do is to check your email so that if there's something urgent that comes up, if there's a big need, if there's a customer problem, if something that I need, please at least check your email so that we can solve the problem for people. That's it. Merry Christmas, Happy holidays. I'm off for the next week.
