Double your investing returns in ONE move- Bible investing strategies

Jonathan Cronin shares three biblical investing principles: reject passive wealth thinking, adopt generational long-term vision, and pursue 10x multiplication over incremental gains. He cites Proverbs, the parable of the talents, and Jesus feeding the 5,000 to argue these strategies will produce significant results in real estate and general investing within 2-3 years.
Hey, what's up, guys? It's Jonathan. I got my little girl, Ava. Say hey. Is that hey? Okay, maybe later. Got my family here. I want to talk to you really quickly, even with my family here in the background, about three strategies that I felt the Lord just put on my heart for real estate investing and just really biblical investing. Okay. You may think, how does it talk about that in the Bible? Well, it does. It talks about it. So several times. Many times. And today I want to talk to you about those things because I felt like the Lord just put those on my heart this morning. And I promise you, if you put these into practice, it's going to change your mindset. Okay? It's going to change your life. I'm actually here at Santa Cruz, California, at the beach. Look at that view right there. Wow. It's kind of hard to not hear the Lord whenever you're staring at beautiful creation like that, but. Okay, guys, so three strategies. I would totally write this down if you have the potential to. Okay, one. Well, what do you want? You want this? Okay, she wants chalk. You want chalk? Okay, she wants chalk. So three strategies. You ready? We're going to try and do this with the family. Number one, wealth preservation is a lie. Okay, that may sound counterintuitive. Capital preservation is not something that is biblical. So you say, well, no, I need to preserve capital. And it comes from a safe place. It comes from a place of caution, and I think it comes from a good heart. But I don't believe it's biblical. Proverbs 12:16 actually says that there was a man who had land and crops that were so plentiful. And the man actually said, thought to himself, well, I will just build bigger barns to store the crops, and then I'll just sit on my tail. I don't think he said it just like that, but I'll sit on my tail and drink and be merry and relax and basically do nothing. God came to him that day and said, even what you. He said, you're going to die tonight. Your soul will be demanded of you. And he said, and then who's going to be enjoying what you've created? And there's another place in Proverbs where it talks about, a man who hides his grain is cursed, and the man who sells is blessed. Right? And so I believe the implication here is God is calling you. I don't care what the speculative downturn is in the market, whatever that is, you know, whatever you think. I'm just in the business of preserving capital, man. I got a Yellow jacket trying to get me trying to preserve capital. God is calling you to invest. God is calling you to steward what he's given you. And maybe it's just a season of learning, right? Maybe it's a season of getting around people who are investing in that time and who are doing well and looking at what's happened in the past, right? But we're not called to sit on what God has given us, no matter what the situation is. God is not looking for perfection. He's looking for somebody who will be obedient. It's not God, it's not you who multiplies, it's God who multiplies. If there's any amount of success I've had, it's been because of God, right? It's been because God has multiplied, not me. Right? So point number two, okay? We are called to think long term, alright? Yeah. As much as I'm gonna talk about, hey, you know, what can we do this year? Let's 10x this year. We're called to think with a long term perspective, okay? It says in Proverbs that a good man leaves an inheritance for his children's children. We're called to think generationally. Now. We're called to have the urgency of spread the gospel and we call it to have the urgency of making an impact. Like Jesus is coming back this year, right this moment. We're called to have the impact, the mindset of impact and urgency for the gospel that Jesus comes in our lifetime, right? But for the sake of wealth, for the sake of anything else, we're called to build for generations to come. And so when you do business with a mindset of the long term, and you're not just thinking about what's going to produce in the short term, when you're willing to go the extra mile, when you're willing to do the hard thing, even though it doesn't benefit you in the forefront, you're doing what most businesses won't, right? Most businesses want to get the fastest path to cash, to, to the return. Right? Whatever that is. You know, they want to get instant gratification. Well, if you're willing to stick it out longer term, that's what the big guys do. That's what the big businesses do. They do the things that no one's willing to do. And so because of that they get returns that no one's willing, that no one's able to get. Okay? So number three, okay? We're called to think in multiplication, not addition. Okay? Now you say, well, the Bible also talks about slowly gathering slowly, you know, slow returns, right? But I promise you there's way more scriptures where Jesus and you just get around Jesus, you understand? He's calling us to think multiplication. So what if you said, all right, what moves do I got to make this year in order to 10x by the end of the year? 10x, your income, 10x, your impact, 10x, your ministry goals, 10x everything, right? Your health, your prayer life, everything like that, right? What do you have to do to 10x? The moves that you're going to make with the 10x goal in mind are going to be much different than the moves that you're going to make with just addition, okay? And it's not, again, it's not to say to be unwise, okay? If you know us, we have a mastermind for real estate investors. Everything we do is built around the idea that you need to get in the room with people that have already been where you want to be. If you do that, I promise you it's going to be your odds in your favor increase dramatically, okay? If you don't do that, the odds stay the same, which are not very good for startups. For anybody who's trying to accomplish massive things that are above normal, right? You're not going to get above normal results doing a below or at normal things, right? You've got to take above normal action, you've got to think above normal. You've got to be around above normal people. And so the last point is think big, think multiplication. You get around Jesus and you know he is, he fed the 5,000, he multiplied the fish with the 5,000. When he talked about the parable of the talents, he was, he didn't come back. Every single one of those guys multiplied what God had, what Jesus, what the the Master had given him, okay? Every single one of those guys. Now the one that he rebuked, hid his treasure away, hid his talent away and didn't produce anything. But everybody else took what was given them and actually multiplied it. So guys, I hope that helps. I know that's a big topic right there, but it felt the Lord put it on my heart and I just wanted to share it with you. I hope that gives you something. I promise you, you put those things into place, you will see massive results in your life in the next two, three years. I would say astronomical. So if that helps, let me know. If it doesn't, if you need more advice, give me a holler. We'll talk soon. Have a great day.
