FINAL DAY 5: GROWING IN PRAYER// Thanksgiving and SPECIAL HEALING TIME AT THE END!

A YouTube video by Jonathan Cronin (with Jessica) titled "FINAL DAY 5: GROWING IN PRAYER// Thanksgiving and SPECIAL HEALING TIME AT THE END!" (uploaded March 30, 2020). The video closes a five-day series teaching on growing intimacy with God through prayer. Core themes: seeing Jesus rightly (intimacy), hearing God's voice, thankfulness/praise (Psalm 100), praying in the Spirit (speaking in tongues, seeking spiritual gifts), personal testimony (Jonathan's conversion and past struggles), and a closing prophetic/healing prayer declaring supernatural healing, dreams/visions, and activation for viewers' purpose and ministry (including specific words about kids ministry and parental/fatherly calling).
We are on the last day, day five of the of the five day series. Growing in prayer, Growing your passion for prayer. And we are so excited because we've seen so many incredible stories. I could read them all, but it would take a lot longer than we have time for. I'm so excited. Today we just want to share a couple points revolving around wrapping up the series, growing in the passion for prayer, creating and cultivating the intimacy for your prayer life with Jesus. It's been so remarkable even for us, just kind of reviewing these things and even asking the Lord. None of this stuff has really been rehearsed or anything. It's literally been from the secret place just about every morning. God giving us these points and revelations. And again, we started it because in our own lives we've seen attack even in full time ministry, going and speaking. I was just preaching yesterday at a church and going to be uploading that video and it was powerful. People were healed. It was crazy. In the midst of this coronavirus pandemic, we've seen people healed. God is still the healer in the midst of a mass sickness. And I believe he wants to release a mass healing revival. But through the years I've been speaking and constantly speaking and it's still in that place. It's so easy to miss your prayer time or this is a big one, actually go to prayer not because you're desiring God, but because you want a sermon and you want to share a sermon. And so creating this intimacy, understanding who Jesus is. The first one was intimacy. It was about seeing Jesus rightly, seeing who he is. He is the most fascinating man there ever was. He's the most wise and it's just so simple just to begin acknowledging him. You did the second one. It was about hearing the voice of the Lord.
Yep. And really just practical ways that we can commune with God and listening to his voice, hearing how he sees us. And I think when we can see God rightly and also see ourselves rightly in the eyes of God in His perspective, we're able to have even more intimacy with God because we're seeing ourselves rightly and we're hearing his voice. That's what we were created for.
Yeah. And then we've gone through a few other ones today. The two big things. One, we want to end praying for every person on here, even giving words of knowledge, prophetic words, just different things like that. But first one is thankfulness. In Psalm 100, David says, Enter his courts with praise and thanksgiving. God is good is what it says. That is so powerful. Jesus says it again when he instructs his disciples on how to pray. They come and ask Jesus how to pray. And I would add to that. They didn't come to Jesus and ask him how to preach a sermon or how to build a church. The disciples came to Jesus not even saying, how do you do these miraculous things? How do you whatever. They came to Jesus and said, lord, teach us to pray. Because the secret to Jesus life, they realized as they were with Jesus, they realized it was prayer. So whenever Jesus responded, he said, alright, pray like this. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. So the very first part of that is recognizing the Father and expounding upon that in your prayer life is tremendous. Jessica was we were talking about the faithfulness of God in your life. Who is God exalting God. He is a good father. I step into prayer, God, you're a good father. You are our Father. You're my Father. You're my Father. Stepping into the place of prayer, it unlocks things in the spirit. I'm telling you, as soon as you step into that, into that thankfulness, begin declaring who he is. Not asking for things, just simply saying, God, you're faithful. As much as I've been struggling with this issue or this or desiring this and haven't seen it come, whatever it may be that's troubling your spirit or whatever it may be, just putting that aside and saying, God, you have been faithful. Remembering his faithfulness. He has been so faithful to me.
Yeah.
He has been so faithful.
Yeah. And something like I'll do if I'm having trouble kind of breaking through or thinking of things, which there's countless things for us to be thankful for. I'll just remember, I'll remind myself of the ways that he's come through, like look back five years ago or even read through old journals or just remind myself of where he's brought me from, from the lowest of lows, or just asking ourselves, when are those times that I cried out to God and He heard me, you know, and we all have those stories, we all have those testimonies that he showed up in the darkest and darkest of times. And when you get back in that place, it just, at least for me, it immediately brings me to my knees and like, to this place of like, just awe and gratitude like that the Lord, like He does show Himself faithful over and over and over again, like he doesn't change. And I think that place of thankfulness gets us back into that right scene of who God is because he doesn't change. Like, he knew the coronavirus was gonna come. He didn't cause it, but he knew it was gonna come. And he's going to be faithful. Like, or whatever circumstance you're going through, like, or whatever challenge I have, it's like, I. It helps me and it helps my faith grow when I'm in that place of thankfulness and I start just like, calling out stones of remembrances in my life, just being like, okay, you're faithful, then you're going to be faithful again. So it helps our flesh die to worry and fear when we go into a place of thankfulness.
Yeah, that's right. I have been in drug addiction. I've been through many different things in jail here. I was radically encountered by Jesus when I was in jail, actually, in the hole, in solitary confinement. I've had many things that I should have been dead. I should have died. Jesus Christ is faithful. And even past that, once I became a Christian. And for some of you, you've never been in any kind of tremendous despair or maybe no addiction, or you haven't had any kind of experience with that, but you've just been on a journey with the Lord. And if there's one thing that you look back, there's one thing I can look back and say is that Jesus is faithful. In the times where I may have been sad or depressed, or in the times that financially I needed breakthrough, in the times where I just simply wanted to grow in him, I just simply was crying out because I saw something in the Word that didn't line up with my life. And I was tired of living in mundane and complacent or whatever it may be, if there's one cry of my heart, it's that Jesus has been faithful. And my goodness, if we can't stir ourselves up in the faithfulness of Jesus, declaring, Jesus, you have been faithful. Thank you. Or just exalting the Lord, saying, God, you are holy, you are righteous, you are worthy, you are loving, you are good. You've been so good to me. And just begin exalting Jesus. I'm telling you, I'm telling you, there's a breakthrough that begins taking place as you just begin exalting Jesus. The last thing was speaking in the Spirit, praying in the Spirit. This has been astronomical for us in our prayer life. And there's another. That's another way you begin praying in the spirit if you do not have a prayer language. I believe in First Corinthians 14, it says, eagerly desire the gifts. Whether that means that that's your gift or. Or whether it means that it's not your gift or whatever. I believe the scripture says eagerly desire all the gifts, especially that of prophecy. So in that it says praying in the Spirit, it says it edifies yourself, Smith Wigglesworth. If you don't know who that is, look up the name Smith Wigglesworth. He was a man that raised many people from the dead. He was a healing revivalist. He. He was an evangelist, and he was a powerful man of God. Look up Smith Wigglesworth. But he said, when asked, what's the secret? He says, I go for about an hour a day and just edify myself. What he was saying was, he prays in the Spirit, speaks in tongues for about an hour every single day.
Yeah. And even just because I know this can be a controversial topic within the body of Christ, even though it's very scriptural. And personally, I think we all just grow up differently in different churches and different environments. And so it's okay to kind of have those questions and kind of wrestle with it. But I would just encourage you to look at the Scriptures. Look at what God's word says over what any man says. Like, we need to just ride on the word of God, because that's the sounding truth. And just like. Like it says to pursue the gifts. You know, for me personally, like, I grew up in a church. I was very conservative, and I didn't see any of the gifts really. Like, it was an amazing church, an amazing body, but I didn't know anything about the gifts and I didn't read and look at it myself. And honestly, when I started praying, pursuing intimacy with God and just when I radically encountered him. And I know we'll share our stories in a couple other videos, but when I really, like, encountered the presence of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit, I just started, like, it just started bubbling up inside of my heart. But one key thing I really want to emphasize in this video is Jesus says throughout his whole life, like, three years of ministry, he always emphasizes that it's the teachable that will inherit the kingdom. Children like the Pharisees couldn't inherit the kingdom because they weren't teachable. And we have to have an open mind about these certain topics that divide the body of Christ and divide the church. Like, let us get back to that place of childlikeness. Let's get back to that place of being teachable and just opening our hearts up and saying, God, if you want me to pray, pursue tongues. If you want me to pursue prophecy, if you want Me to, you know, pursue whatever it is he's pressing on your heart. We have to be open, we have to be humble, we have to be teachable. And so I know this is a different topic. That's. It may be controversial for some people watching, but I just. I can't emphasize enough. When I started praying in the spirit, I started feeling a shift and a fresh fire started kindling inside of my heart. And it really does strengthen you. It strengthens you and it kills the flesh in such a supernatural way. And you're praying things that the Holy Spirit has you praying. It's not something we're thinking about. It's our spirit and the Holy Spirit together in our hearts praying.
So we're going to pray over every single one of you that has been through this series. And I believe right now God is about to release some things over your spirit and begin to just activate that in you, activate the calling into a deeper place of intercession. And I believe eyes to see are going to be given eyes to see what's happening in the spirit right now, what's happening in the world today, what God desires. Because one simple act of obedience can change history, can change the world, can change millions of hearts. Just one simple act of obedience. It doesn't have to be anybody that has a following or anything. Just one person doing one simple act of obedience can literally change the world. Father, right now, over every single person that would be watching these videos, I declare just supernatural breakthrough in their lives, supernatural healing in their lives. And Lord, I just declare, I just cover every single person that's watching this. God, I just cover every single person with just outrageous intimacy, outrageous sensitivity to your spirit. Oh, God. And I just declare, I even feel right now there's people, somebody on here that is just struggling with purpose, struggling with who they are, with their not just identity, not necessarily identity. They know they're a child of God, but they're desiring to know what all is meant for them in this season, what their purpose is in this season, in this time. And they're desiring to find their passion. And I just declare right now, God's beginning to show you. I just say right now, God's showing you in Jesus name, there's dreams in the night for you, there's intimacy. It's not necessarily for somebody to come and tell you what to do, because God wants to draw you into an intimacy with him unlike ever before. So, Lord, right now, dreams and visions, Dreams and visions. Dreams and visions. Somebody's been desiring to work with Kids. And I feel like there's an anointing for kids ministry over that person, over you. And I felt like the Lord says, go pursue that. Pursue kids. I've given you favor in the area of kids ministry. And I feel like he says to go after that. And I feel like you're going to lead other people into intimacy with the Lord, into a place of actual relationship. There's a crucial gap. There's a crucial gap in the child's life, and it's a pivotal point in their life where they must learn a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And I feel like the Lord says you're going to take them into that even over sickness, since there's many people being healed right now. There was neck pain, there was knee pain. Right now. There was acl. Torn ACL right now. I declare healing in Jesus name. If this is you, if any of this is you, just comment and say it is and share. Share with other people what's going on, because it's going to increase faith in other people.
Yeah, God, we just thank you for fresh baptism of your love over every person and a baptism of your Holy Spirit. We just ask, Lord, that you would come, Holy Spirit, and touch the people right now. May they feel the warmth of your love, the warmth of your fire. God, I just thank you for open hearts that are just receiving you, Holy Spirit. And I just ask anyone that's watching that you just kind of posture yourself in an open and receiving position, whatever that looks like for you. The Holy Spirit is going to touch you. And God, I just thank you for just fire, fire over every person, destiny over every person, Lord, that they would feel your embrace, that they would feel your touch, Jesus. And I just thank you, Lord, that you are filling them, God, even just. There's been hunger. I feel like there's been hunger for more. Like, I feel like there's been. There's someone that's watching that has even, like, in their past experience with like, witchcraft and paganism and things like that, because you're hungering for the gifts. And. And I feel like God is just gonna baptize you with a real thing right now and destiny and that you're gonna begin to experience the true power of the true Holy Spirit. The true and living God is gonna fill you with his love and he's gonna show you even greater things. And they're pure things that he has to offer. Not what the world has to offer, what. What these dark spirits have to offer. Like, you're going to experience the greater things and the pure and holy things that God has for you. Thank you God and I just thank you for just greater, greater vision over every person. We just thank you for just strengthening the spirit man of every person that they will grow into their destiny. They will grow into where, where you are calling them to.
Lord.
We just love you Jesus. We thank you God that we are on a journey with you in Jesus name.
Yes. Glory to God. Well, bless you all. Yeah, I just felt, I just felt like the Lord said there's also a father on here that he has divinely set to bring healing. Father, that's, that's, that may have kind of lost vision, but I feel like the Lord wants to remind you you are called to bring healing and you are his son. You are a good father and you're going to bring a fatherly role, a fatherly healing and authoritative healing to many. So bless you all and we love you.
