God gave us a POWERFUL and URGENT word for 2021- Jonathan and Jess Cronin

Hey, everyone. Good morning. No, it's not good morning, it's good afternoon. Hope you're all having a wonderful day. Jess and I are in Panama City seeing some family, Aunt Gigi and Uncle Mar, they're amazing. We're on their porch right now, raining, beautiful. There's a little canal right down there. The hurricane actually put down a bunch of trees over there, sealed down from a couple years ago. But we are just sitting out here reading the word and praying and we have a word we wanted to share. Baby Kai sleeping. So peaceful out here, guys. And also it's Kai's six month. Kai just turned six months old, so that's really cool. But anyway, we're just out here. We wanted to share something that we really felt was really powerful and something that is really critical for the coming year in 2021. The Lord and I think everyone knows, no matter what happens this for 2021, whether, whichever, what way it swings in the political realm, it's going to be a crazy year. And I felt the, you know, as we were praying, we felt like the Lord talked to us about Philippians 4 and you're probably familiar. Philippians 4. Hey, Dot, Denise and Brenda, hope you're all doing well. Those watching, I can't really see anybody else, Zach. Anyway, Philippians 4, it talks about, do not be anxious in anything, but through prayer, supplication, make your request known to God. We all know that scripture and it says, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus. But then it follows it up with this scripture and then Jess is going to share about this because God gave us a really strong word that I believe the church of Jesus Christ has to get a hold of for 2021 because it's coming. It's going to be insane, the things that are going to transpire. But I believe peace is one of our most powerful weapons as the church. And so Philippians 4, it follows up in verse 8, it says, finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, lovely, commendable, or excellence, or if anything's worthy of praise, think on these things. And another version says, meditate on these things.

Yeah, I think it's so powerful. Just the word meditation and the, the command that we see here is to meditate on these things. And you know, something the Lord spoke to me as I was reading was that that there's many things that are going to try to pull on our attention and that we actually are meditating on that we don't realize, like when you're on social media, when you're on other things that are just consuming your time and you don't even realize it. If we let our hearts do that, we're meditating. And if we're spending more time meditating on other things besides what is lovely, what is just, what is pure, what is holy, what is worthy of praise, it can actually rob us of peace. It can rob us of all these different things. And you know, if you even analyze yourself like after you've been on social media for a long time or you've been on other things for a long time that isn't pure, that doesn't align with these things, you can notice a change. Like you can notice a shift in your heart and, and then compare it to when you meditate on the things of the Word and on the things that are life giving. You come out of it peaceful. You come out of it in a state of rest. And I believe the more you meditate on those things, the more more peaceful you become and the more you embody it and they. The more it's your default mode if you say like, the more you can go back to that place of peace if something tries to come against you. So I just feel like in the year of 2021 that God is commissioning us all to press in and to meditate on the word of God and on those things so we can be more peaceful to a world that is absolutely crazy right now. And we see so much division in the church and even in the body of Christ right now. And if we're not guarding our hearts and meditating on the things of the Lord and on the things he calls us to, we can't be those vessels of peace. So this year let's press in together to meditate on what he's saying and on those things that give us peace and give us life.

Amen.

And authority over those things.

So yeah, and I even feel like for people watching this right now and that will be doing the re watch. I feel like there's even goals that God's putting on your heart and maybe some have sat down and literally this is my goals for 2021. But I feel like even for those who haven't, God is giving you goals and specific things that he wants to do in your life and through your life. And I feel like this word right here is going to be really critical for you accomplishing those. So meditating, making sure that in social media, some things on social media are great. Like, you know this right Here we're just sharing a word from the Lord. Some things, and a lot of things are negative things on the news, things in whatever may come. There's going to be a lot of things coming that are going to be like, man, this is crazy. And it's. And it may be something you need to be informed about, but be careful in meditation and sticking on those things and really focusing on those things, allowing those things to consume your time. Because the goals and the things, the aspirations on your heart this year, the things that God is wanting to do is not going to be affected by the political news. It's not going to be affected by. By the things that, that are coming against our world, by the calamity, by the disunity. It's not going to be affected. If you truly embody this scripture where it says, meditate on the things that are lovely. And what a freeing passage that like, we're not called to meditate on the hard things on the. We need to be informed. But literally God is just saying whatever is true, whatever's honorable, whatever's trustworthy, the things that are worthy of praise, lovely, meditate on those things. And I promise you, what is going to be left in your life is a peace that surpasses all understanding. And you are going to use that peace to truly defeat the enemy in your life and through your life. So to the world around us. So we just want to jump on here and let you know God is about to take your life to another level. And I just even want to pray over you and those watching God is going to take your life to another level. And we're just over here being convicted like man. We need to watch more carefully what we give our time and focus to and our energy to. So Lord, in Jesus name, we just speak over every person watching God that the goals that you have for them, the strategies that you have for them would be clear for 2021, that you would begin speaking to them even in the night, in dreams, in the night. I just declare prophetic dreams, words of knowledge, things upon their life. I just speak that upon them. And that Lord, as you give them these goals and these next steps for 2021, that you would give them the ability to. To watch what they meditate on, to watch the things that they give their time, their mental focus to, and that everything would be, would be pure and noble. All the things that they're focusing on this year would truly embody this, that the peace of Christ which surpasses all understanding, would guard their hearts and mind against all anxieties, against everything that's not lovely and peace in Jesus name and that every goal would be accomplished in the name of Jesus. And I just speak that over every person, every goal, every desire God has for those watching on here and on the rewatch, Lord, we just say in Jesus name, yes, and amen to those things. Yeah.

And I just. I feel like, just in my heart, I feel like there's just been a lot of loss. Like, I feel like there's people watching this that either have lost somebody. Personally, I. I feel like the Lord, he just wants you to know that he's meeting you in the midst of loss.

Yeah.

And that he is going to help you and help the way that you think about it and even the depression that has just been coming at you. I just feel like the Lord is. He's turning it around right now and he's just going to. I just feel like he's saying, be patient, my daughter. Be patient, my son. I'm walking with you and I'm turning it around. And I just feel like he's going to begin to transform your mind as you meditate on him and as you meditate on the truth about what happened and even just negative situations, too. I feel like he's just going to help you meditate and turn the way that you think about things. And. Yeah. So, Lord, I just pray over whoever that's for, God, that you would just touch them, Lord. Yeah. Thank you, Lord. We just pray that you would touch their hearts right now, God, that you see them, you know them, Lord. You know exactly what they're going through, God. That's exactly why you spoke in this call. Lord, we thank you for your word, your rhema word, Lord. We just ask that you would touch them, God. And we are thanking you ahead of time that you will complete, complete what you said you would do, Lord. Your promises are true. So, God, we thank you for who you are. We thank you for what you're going to do, Lord. Touch them right now, Holy Spirit. Touch their minds right now, Holy Spirit. Thank you, God.
