Leviticus 13 and 14
Almost seven months pregnant
Hey, guys.
Hello.
We are so excited. It is day four.
Oh, yeah.
And we are in our backyard right now, coming by the pool right here. We don't want you to see the pool. It's not ready. It's still being cleared up. So, yeah, we're just gonna position the camera. Oh. And then put it, like, right here. Jess is actually this morning building a garden. So it doesn't look like a garden, but it will be. So there's a lot of soil coming this morning. She's really excited. Anyway, we have had so much, just great feedback from the past couple days. I mean, we've only been doing this thing for, like, two days now. I mean, this is the fourth day, so three days. And we haven't even really fully, like, heard all the stories from today's video or the one that came out this morning. But, like, I just wanted to read you one. One person said, I listened to Jonathan and Jess video again and took notes like, she was talking to her sister this morning. I studied and had the sweetest time listening to our father. I'm 72 years old and God has used those sweet children to teach and minister to me. I thank God for them and their ministry. And then somebody else said, I've been praying for God to revive me for months. And now I believe he's heard me and so many other stories just like that where people are being encountered. And I just want to say, honestly, for us, I felt the Lord telling us to create videos and to share for a while now, and I haven't done it. So I'm learning to be obedient. And honestly, there's no better life than being right where Jesus is. And it doesn't matter if it's hard. It doesn't matter if it's a little bit fearful or. Yeah, like anxiety or stress may try to come. But I'm telling you, as soon as you say no, I'm going to listen to Jesus, and if he's saying this, I'm going to do it. He rewards and so going to put this down so we can talk a little. This morning I felt like the Lord said, read John 1:4. And I normally don't like to read a whole lot. I like to just dissect, like, one or two things. But I just began reading it, and that's kind of the first thing I was thinking was really in prayer, the scripture that says we must listen and obey. Like, we can't just be hearers of the Word, we have to be doers of the Word. Like, that's one of the things that is going to cause your prayer life and reading the Word. Like, a lot of people come to me and say, you know, I read the Word all the time, but it seems so mundane. It seems so redundant. I know the Scripture. I can't really comprehend it, or I just. And I think one of the major themes is actually listening. When the Lord says, read something, it's about listening and obeying, and you're rewarded. So, like, if he says, read the book of Exodus, like, read it or Leviticus, you know, read that, do that. He's going to reward. And the other thing is really, like, taking it. As I began reading John 1:4, I read a lot, and it was so powerful. I'm literally reading the life of Jesus Christ, the one whom my heart loves and craves, the one who created me, the one who is the Word made flesh. And so I'm literally going through this, and my heart, as I'm doing this, is just coming alive. Not because I'm getting, like, revelation or a sermon or something that's, you know, that's crazy. But I'm looking at it as if I was a disciple of Jesus, as if I was there and Jesus himself was literally talking to me. And I try to stay in the Gospels along with other things I'm reading. So the Gospels to me is like Jesus himself sharing, you know, and I'm literally watching the Son of God come and give us an example of his life and causing my mind to actually believe that what he did, I can do.
I wanted to add, too, in regards to, like, that feeling of feeling like I'm reading. I don't feel like I'm getting crazy revelation. I feel like I'm just kind of going through the motions. I think all of us have felt that way. But something that the Lord reminded me of is like, okay, we may not remember what we ate two weeks ago for lunch on Monday, but we know our body was nourished. And I think it's the same thing when we digest the Word of God. We know that our spirit is nourished every single time we read the Word. And every single time we press in and press through any kind of attack that the enemy tries to put on us. And whether it's fogginess or just feeling that, like we're going through the motions or whatever, you know, we know and we can stand on the truth that our spirits are nourished every single time. Because, like. Like you said, it's. It's the Word of God. It's the Word Manifested. Jesus manifested into the Word. And that's what we can cling to, is knowing, like, our spirit's nourished every time. And so something like something the Lord challenged me to do last year was read through the whole Bible, like, chronologically. So you can find chronological, like, I guess, guidelines online. And so I've been reading through it, and it was really challenging. And something Jonathan helped me kind of realize and just to touch back on is like, to incorporate the New Testament in those times. Like, as I'm reading through Leviticus, as I'm reading through, like these really intense, hard to understand, written thousands and thousands of years ago context, like, to really incorporate the life of Jesus in it and to really see, honestly, like, the strings attached to both the Old Testament and the New Testament. And the Lord, like, really, really honored me just saying, okay, I'm gonna do it. I want to understand your word book through book, from the first page to the last page. So it was a challenge, but it really showed me what Jesus died for. Like, we don't have to do any of those things that we had to do back in, you know, back in Leviticus, like, the laws, the thousands of laws that were written through Moses. Like, we don't have to do any of that anymore. Jesus came to show us, like, that ST is under the blood. Like, and we were, I mean, even this morning we were getting crazy revelation. And it. We'll probably share about that later.
But yeah, specifically over Leviticus and the coronavirus that's happening now. Basically, we saw the coronavirus, it was basically like leprosy crazy revelation. Go look at Leviticus 13 and 14. But we're gonna create a video and talk about that. And we specifically actually want to create videos. Praying over the sick, praying over, like, and seeing people heal.
If you're having a hard time really, like, pressing in and seeing revelation in the Word, I would just say, look at the Gospels. The man Jesus came and demonstrated a life that is an example for all of us. Okay? And it's just like, we have the opportunity to do what Jesus did. We have the opportunity to. And the entire Word of God. Even in the Old Testament, it says, in John 1, the word became flesh. In the beginning was the Word. So the Word, the entire book, the entire Bible, points to Jesus. It points to the Father, it points to all of this. In the book of Acts, Jesus said, you will do what I do and greater things. So what are those greater things? I don't know. But it's an invitation to a journey with the Lord. You'll begin being fascinated by the Lord, by Jesus. And as you begin doing that, as you just listen and obey whatever he may say, do it.
We love you all. If you want to find out more, subscribe. And if you want to be updated, make sure you subscribe and click the bell, the notification bell. Select all. It should be able to come to your phone if you allow it in Settings. I know a lot of you have been wanting to make sure you stay on top of these videos. We're going to be doing it one more. This is the second to last one on the Specific prayer series, growing your prayer life. Just to give you a hint of some things coming up, we do want to create videos specifically targeting different sicknesses and illnesses and mental illness or addiction or depression or cancer, whatever it may be. We believe God is saying in the midst of this pandemic, he wants to bring a healing revival. So I want you to please get ready for that and think of anybody in your life that needs healing. And we're going to just try to make these videos, just go out to everybody. Like, we want to see people made whole and healed. That is why we're here. That is why we're on this earth. It's what God saved both of us from. And we hope to share a testimony video coming soon. So we love you guys. God bless you. Have a great day. Jess is gonna go garden now.
Oh, yeah.
She's gonna go build a garden. Pregnant. She's almost seven months pregnant. You can't really see. There's the belly. Whoa, whoa. We love y'. All. Bless you.
