Live August 25

Daniel and a speaker troubleshoot live audio problems during an August 25 broadcast, dealing with feedback from speaker placement and 30-40 seconds of stream latency. They plan to reposition equipment and scan RF frequencies to avoid interference before resuming after lunch.

Are you live? Yes. Do you see the graphic? You see the graphic now? It should be coming to the mix.
Yeah, that one didn't drop at all now. So it's just a frequency. Yes. Yeah, like even though they were on separate frequencies. Yes. Yeah, they still— so yeah, that's the reason in some areas you want to scan at the beginning to see if there are any frequencies that are just filled with— it did look like that one was pretty full.
Okay.
And that could be from the people in the room too. Gotcha. So it can be better when people aren't in the room. Yes. It starts to fill up. Yes. Because cell phones are not far off when it's on frequency. I think we should be good. Yeah, so you had— you were having dropping and squealing though yesterday? Uh, squealing, yes. Okay, squealing, like I said, it's just because you never want your speakers behind the microphone.
We need to move those before the breakdowns and the broker calls before the breakdowns and the broker calls when all those mics are up there together.
Is that second half? Yeah, generally.
I'll do it during lunch. Yeah, because the sessions up till then and it's just one speaker generally, maybe 2 if they're Uh, I guess they're just extras. We'll get them out of the way.
Would it help if we handle Yes, that's another thing. Like right now, it is that one that I can see is pointed this way pretty hard, pointing it outward, like away from where the speaker is. Maybe we pan them initially just yeah, point it to where it is facing straight that way as possible because there are sights in here that shoot out the side. Okay, so more so straight.
Yes, and that one too.
Appreciate it, Daniel.
Get you some breakfast.
How's the event going other than that?
Other than that, great. I think, uh, Larry's probably developed a tic because of all the feedback.
It's just in rooms this size, it's hard to keep it back down. Right.
This stream is upcoming even though I scheduled it for 8:30.
It's a lot of delay, probably like 30, 40 seconds. Sweet. All right, what's that?
Okay.
