The last Pandemic Revival is Here!

Jonathan Cronin preaches on the church's response to COVID-19 and spiritual lostness through prayer, discipleship, and outreach. He anchors the call in Acts 2, announces Harvest Coffee Community and a prayer house, and shows how ten people reaching one person daily could scale into revival.
Just one touch is all it takes. Just one touch from you, Jesus, is all it takes to heal a nation is all it takes to heal our bodies. Just one touch. Oh, today, God, we say, yes. Just touch this one. Just one Jesus. We love you, Jesus. Thankful. Amen. Amen. Thank you so much, Church. Thank you for being obedient to the Holy Spirit. All right. All right. Thank you. Committing to give your lives to Jesus. Being here on this day, many are feared. Yeah. I'm honored to be here again. All right. Privilege I tell you, I've been here about three times. I just want you to know I feel more at home here than I do in many churches that look just like me. I feel more at home in the midst of crazy division. I'm serious, y'. All. This is a church of love right here, whether you like it or not. Thank you so much. Love you so much. Thank you. The worship team. What a wonderful time in the presence of the Lord. Glory. Y' all are blessed, sir. Are you blessed. Praise the Lord. Well, this morning, I want to share a few things. I do want to let you know I got a chance with the prayer time this morning to pray over the seats and anoint the seats, so nobody's safe. The Lord said, I got you of being able to be healed. You're sitting in a chair, and I believe the presence of the Lord is here. All right. You're not safe from a blessing this morning. You're not safe from being healed this morning. There's. I just said there's a touch from the Lord. All right. And nobody's exempt. Amen. Amen. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. Well, I want to talk to the title of my message is Last Pandemic. I want to tell you there's been a lot going on. The pandemic. I believe there's one great revival coming. All right. I believe there's a revival that's going to spread quicker than any coronavirus can spread. Yeah. And today I'm going to dive into that a little further a little later on, but I just want to let you know it's in regards to revival. Yeah. I'm so excited for what this church has coming up. The revival that's going to take place here at the end of month or end of April. Yeah. And, you know, I see a lot of people waiting on revival. Yeah. As if this is going to be this miraculous moment where God's going to come and show up and change everything and everybody is better. I want to tell you, we're not waiting on God. God's waiting on us. Listen, the world is not needing God to move. The world is waiting for somebody to move with God. The world is waiting for us to step up and begin after the month. See, he created the momentum 2,000 years ago. The momentum was already created when he died and rose again and left with you, the Holy Spirit, when he did that. The ball's in our court now. Yeah. I'm telling you and I see it all the time. And people are just. It's 2,000 years. He poured out his Spirit and he said, go and make disciples. Yeah. And today we're going to be out of Matthew 24:14. All right? Acts 2. That's going to be the two kind of main scriptures that we're talking about. But I got two things I feel that we've got to get with urgency. Yeah. And we gotta walk away. See, I don't just want. I want the Holy Spirit to come in and transform this morning. I'm just asking the Holy. If I don't have the Holy Spirit speak, it's not gonna be good for any of you. My Lord. Yeah. The Holy Spirit. The Lord has got to share this morning. I hope we all just. I just invite you all. Let's all yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit Spirit this morning. All right. Let's yield ourselves. Nobody in here wants to just come and feel good and then leave. That's right. We need a touch from Jesus. We need a touch from heaven this morning. Depths of our being. And we need to be transformed as we walk out this door. That's what you want. Whether you're ready to get through this or not. I'm telling you, your soul is craving. I touched on the Lord. I know you're so. You. The death of your being is craving a touch from heaven because when he touches you. Uhhuh. Things begin to change. Your family begins to change. Things inside. Things in our community begins to change. So to this, today, I just invite you. Uhuh. Let's just yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit. And I got to do. I'm doing that record. I'm saying, God, we want to change. We want to yield ourselves. It's so simple. But I feel there's two things this morning. I'm going to be bold here. I think there's two things that is essential and it's guaranteed for revival. There's two things I'm going to tell you and I'm commissioning myself today. But there's two things I want you to understand. He's going to bring about revival in Acts 2. I know you probably turned to Matthew first, but I just want to tell you, Acts 2:42, right after it says 3,000 were added in a single day. It says they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, to fellowship, to breaking of bread, and to prayer. The main point I want to share right there is prayer. Yeah. But I also want to touch. They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching. Now I just have a whim that if we as a church, just this one church, were to seriously, every minute of every day, devote ourselves to the apostles teaching. Yeah. If we were to seriously devote, just hone in on that one thing and say we're going to devote everything we ought to the apostles teach and to bring about whatever is taught and to begin to. I'm telling you, I think there would be a night day difference. That may be a little hard to. I'm going to say, you see prayer, a lot of you may know that President Trump just declared today National Prayer Day. They said we need to call the National Prayer Day. My Lord, I want to tell you we need a National Prayer Day every day. We're in that urgent time, folks. We're in a time where we need National Prayer Day every single day. We're in desperate need. It's not just a day that we need. We need a lifestyle to get into our bones. This has got to get into every of our being. And when it does, you're going to begin to see the Scriptures unfold. Exactly what was happening in the early church, they devoted themselves to the apostles teaching, to fellowship and to prayer. See, there was times. Prayer is twofold. There was times where Jesus snuck away. You would see throughout the Gospels, he would sneak away to go pray. One time he prayed an entire night. The entire night he was in prayer. And then you know what? When the Son came up, he didn't go take a nap. He had one of the greatest days, one of the busiest days he ever had in ministry. He got up, chose his 12 disciples. He Healing, it says, was radiating off of him. And then he preached the Sermon on the Mountain. Go look at the Sermon on the Mount and look in the day that night beforehand, he had been up all night, all right, praying. So that's one. There's not just corporate, but there's. There's personal prayer we've got to give ourselves to. And then there's the fellowship, the prayer together, as in Acts 2. We've got to come together, we've got to pray. And that's what this church is. I mean, it's famous for my I was in here this morning feeling the presence of the Lord, so strong as the sister led us into prayer. And that's a consistent thing that y' all have done. It's not. That's the backbone of my. All right. That's the backbone. That's the. That's the lifeblood right there. Yeah. This. The sermon is. I mean, all this is great, but without that prayer, things begin to die out. Things begin to get. You start to get exhausted. Right. It's hard to get. You need. That's your energy. That's your life. I'm telling you, that prayer is what's going to. By the way, we have just opened a coffee shop. How many of you have not ever heard of Take the city again? Okay, young fellas, back here. Okay. All right, good. So we're all aware. Well, Take the city's off Second Avenue, right by Valley Rescue, across the street from Valley Rescue Mission. We just started a coffee shop named Harvest House or Harvest Coffee Community. All right. Right next to it, and it's been thriving. We just opened it a month ago. I invite y' all to come. There's awesome coffee and ice cream and things like that. But right behind it is a house of prayer, which I should have said beforehand, because that's the reason it's thriving. It's the heartbeat of the entire ministry. We have a house of prayer you can come to day or night, or it's open anytime the coffee shop is open. 7am to 8:30pm you can come to it anytime we're open and jump into prayer. Jump into that. How many know the harvest is plentiful? All right. The workers are seeing. Yeah. Jesus said, lord, pray the Lord of the harvest to raise up laborers. And that's. I just want to also show you that in Matthew's account of cleansing the temple, When Jesus cleansed the temple, he went in and drove out all the sellers. Yeah. He went and drove out all the workers. Everybody trying to make his house. He said, a den of thieves, den of robbers. And in Matthew's account, it shows. He said, my house shall be called a house of prayer. And in the very next verse, said, the lame came and they were healed. The blind came, and they were healed people. The very next verse. All right, I'm telling you, the implication here is when the temple is cleansed, when the house of prayer comes back to what it was meant to be. When we step into the house of prayer, when we begin to steward that in our lives, then people are going to be healed. It's just an Effect of stewarding the house of God. That is what we're seeing here. Jesus is here. Yeah. Jesus is in this place. I can feel it. Yeah. Second thing I want to tell you. Praise the Lord. Outreach and discipleship or the second thing. The second thing I want you to leave here with. Outreach and discipleship. It's not just the pastor's job. No, it's not just the missionary that you sent off. It's everyone. Yes. Discipleship is every one of our duties. Yeah. Outreach, reaching the lost. Jesus didn't say, go and make converts. He said, go make disciples. Yeah. That's a tough pill to swallow right there. I understand. Yeah. But I want to say something that may be a little too bold. But I believe we could have the entire world in church right now, my Lord, and the whole. And not not much will change my law. How can you say that? Well, we have just as much divorce in the church as we do in the world. That's right. Right. We have just as much addictions in the church as we do in the world. My life. Yeah. The world needs disciples. Jesus Christ. All right. The world needs people to be disciplined, discipled. Uhhuh. It's not just congress. Just because you said a sinner's prayer doesn't mean you're following. All right? Jesus. Right. Just because. In fact, if you look at Jesus life, he. Yeah. I never see him. Just say, say this prayer. You're good to go. What he say, come, follow me. All right. Jesus didn't say, pray this prayer. You're good. He said, come, follow me. Yeah. When you follow Jesus, that's the path to life. When you follow Jesus, that's the path to change in the world. When you follow Jesus, that's when you see things. Yeah. Following Jesus is the criteria here. It's not just coming to church. Yeah. You see, that's the model in Acts. They were coming together on an everyday basis. See, I'm telling you, I'm commissioning myself here this morning. I want you to understand that I'm commissioning. Just as much as I'd like to commission every single one of us, every one of you, I'm commissioning myself. I want us together as a unit to begin taking up this running with fire into our city. The harvest is plentiful, folks. All right? The harvest is plentiful. I was in a Mexican restaurant one time, and I remember going out in the parking lot, and I remember seeing a guy who needed to jump on his car. Him and his wife, a couple kids in the back, needed to jump, get his Car started, I go over there, I say, hey, I got some jumper cables. I go over there. And the Holy Spirit said, share with him the gospel. Share the gospel with this man. He was a rough looking character. I mean, he was definitely didn't seem. The only reason he seemed like he was invited was because he needed somebody to help, you know. And so I said, man, you know, this is good, but I'm glad I can help you. But I want you to understand, Jesus has a plan for you life, my Lord. And I began telling him and he just begins weeping. I'm telling you, it was one of those moments where, where the anointing began to Jesus had set this man up. He said, I was back soon. And I feel like I'm. And I've been trying to figure, trying to figure out why I'm here. He said, I've been, I've been in a place where, you know, I feel like the Lord's giving up on me. And. And I said, that's exactly why the Lord put you here and me here, because he wants you to understand he's got a plan for your life. He's not giving up on you. And I want to tell you, I was with that man. And that was the outreach portion. And I was constantly talking to this guy. He would call me up, say, I'm not doing good this week. It was probably about a year of just going back and forth. And finally I said, I've been trying to mentor him and counsel him and. And finally I said, you know, I just, I can't get into myself. I don't have anything else. And I said, all I can tell you, I'm sure some of you have that person in your life. You just don't know what else to say. You just don't know what else to say. You just say, lord, if you don't do it, this is what I told him. I said, I said, I like it. 10 is to seek Him. And so we hung up. About a month later, he calls me. He said, man, I figured it out. I found it. I found the freedom. And he begins shouting for joy. And he begins telling me. I could barely understand what he was saying, but he said, it's all about just seeking Him. Sometimes we go to other people and we need to be going to Jesus. And he says, this is amen. And I want to tell you, he started a ministry, ministry called Seek Him Ministries. Yeah, he gave me a T shirt probably a few months later and that said seek Him. I'm telling you, Jesus will change your Life. Jesus will set you up if you just continue with that person. I want to encourage you in here. If you just continue with that person that you are constantly with. It's discipleship. Yeah. And those times Jesus said, you know, I can't do anything for you. You. You don't give it all, you know, but then how many understand? It's a long journey for some, by law. Listen, I was right here in the Scoto county jail when God recounted my life. A lot of you know that story. I was on drugs. I was on meth. I was running from the police. When I finally got caught all messed up. Didn't have any lung capacity, so I didn't make it very far, but I was right here, still counting. I got. I got into the hole, into solitary confinement. And in there, I said, God, I can't do this anymore. You're real. Changed my life. And right there. Yeah. Just one touch, folks. My Lord, just one touch is all it take. I'm telling you. Yes. That's why this prayer is so effective. See, that wasn't just me saying, you know, coming and saying, I need help. That was a fruit of intercessors. Yeah. Praying on my behalf. That was a fruit. Nobody came in and touched me. It was just Jesus. Yeah. And it was from this place right here where people began praying and interceding, saying, touch them. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Touch them, Lord. Yeah. I'm telling you, this is what it's about. I believe we're in a more urgent time than ever before. Many in the church today resorting to a place of fear. My Lord, in the midst of a disease. Like you said, there's been many diseases. This country, this disease isn't even as dead as the flu. I know, but the church is in a state of panic. Yeah. Might add, I think it's important to continue safe practices. I know it was unorthodox to help Pastor Anaton just a second ago, but I want to tell you it's important to do safe practices. But I also want to tell you that Jesus Christ lives inside of you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And there's no disease that can touch you. You can be bitten by a snake. Yeah. This is the Bible. Now. I'm just. I'm commissioning myself here, too. I've got to step into this higher place of living church. I've got to step into this place to see the way Jesus is seeing. All right. Okay. We're all needing to take precautions here. Yeah. But we're way more than that. We need to see the way Jesus Sees. All right. We need to step into that place of prayer, cultivating a place of sensitivity to his spirit. We need to dive into. Into the word of God and begin to devour this like we never have before. I'm telling you, we are not just in the end times. We're in the end times of the end times. All right. All right. I'm telling you, we're in a place where we've got to devour this book more than ever before. And we need to hear the voice of the Lord. Not hearing the voice of the Lord. Get with somebody who is. Yeah. Begin to get with somebody. You've got to get sensitive to the Holy Spirit. This way. Yes, sir. We're in a dire time, my Lord. And I want to talk to you about the last pandemic. Yeah, it's in Matthew 24. All right, 14. See, this is our time. This isn't a time to fear. This is a time to shine. This is the church's time to step up. Yeah. Why is there more divorce in the church than there is in the world? Because we haven't separated, seen who we are in Christ. We have seen what we hold. There's no revelation. There's no revelatory place in our lives to the world. There's no relevance. What's the relevance? How is the church different from the world? Well, Jesus healed every person you saw. Yeah. This is Jesus now. This is just our model. This is what we're going after. And I think it's so easy to slip into. Well, that was Jesus, my Lord. It's so easy to slip into that. Come on, now. Yeah, that's right. Come on. Oh, that was Jesus. Tell the truth. Well, is he inside of you or is it to you? All right. Did he say all authority's been given to him? Meaning that the devil has zero authority? That's right. Come on. We have got to get our mind to that higher place. We are in a time church where this is what we were born for. This is what we were made for. We were made to come into the chaos and begin to shine the light of Jesus and begin to bring peace. We were made to come into the kindness of Christ. We were made for this, what we were going for. Church. We can go out and bring heed it. This is all of us. This is all of us. Yeah. This church knows it more than. More than a lot of churches. I know. And we just have to remind ourselves of what the Lord has done for us. We have to remind ourselves of what he's done in Chaos. Has he been unfaithful in the last chaotic time? No, he hasn't. Did he prove himself faithful in the last chaotic time in your life? Yes, he did. Yes. There's more people in here than the disciples of Jesus in the Gospels. Yeah. There's a few more than 12. Can you say that? Yeah. Praise the Lord. There's a few more than the two disciples that won entire cities to Jesus in the Book of Acts. Come on. I'm not even speaking in the spiritual realm. All of heaven is behind us this morning. All of heaven is waiting for us to begin to move and move with him and begin to trust him and step out in faith and boldness. All of heaven right now. I want you to come into awareness of that right now. I want you to begin to see that and begin to agree with that right now. All of heaven right now is eagerly waiting for you to begin to trust God. You to begin to step out and declare things like you haven't before. You begin to just tell people who he is and you begin to believe what he said. Yeah. He wants you to do in this word. Scary. Because there's also a pandemic far worse than what we're currently experiencing. It's called lostness. Yeah. That's true. And it's spread all over the world. That's so sin. There's a pandemic greater than the people and the coronavirus all over together. Yeah. There's a pandemic crater, and we're in that time. We're in a place where sin is killing more people than every disease, all of them combine. And it's time for the church to step up. It's time. We're here. And I want to share with you something that I felt from the Lord. It's actually kind of a math equation. It may scare some of you, but I just began to dream of the Lord one time. Yeah. And I said, you know, it don't take much to start a movement. It just takes a group of obedient people that would be radically obedient. Yeah. Even to the point of death. Yeah. And even that. We're a far cry from that. We just need to face our pride. And we've been sharing the gospel of Jesus. But let me just ask you. Let's begin to think about this. Let's begin to dream together really quick. If There was just 10 of you in this room, just 10 that began to commit to reaching one person every day with the gospel of Jesus. Just 10. Just take 10. All right. I'm sure There would be a lot more that would commit. But just say 10, reach one person every single day just to say Jesus loves you. Or just say, I was in the Burger King drive through not too long ago, and I just simply told the lady, Jesus loves you so much. All right? And she just starts weeping. She says, I was just told I was given a sense of cancer, and she just starts weeping. She says, I was questioning the Lord and she just. I took her hand. I said, give me your hand. I'm going to pray for you right now. I believe Jesus healed her. But just if you go and I could go and say Jesus loves you a lot. Some people receive it, some people don't. But if 10 of them every single day, reach one person with the gospel of Jesus Christ, whether leading them into salvation, whether. Whether just sharing how much Jesus loves him, whether sharing that there's hope for you, that he has a plan for you, whatever it may be. Quick word. If 10 of you every single day reached one in 30 days, that's 300 people that have just been touched by the Lord or have experienced whatever you share. Now, let me ask you this. Imagine if 10% of those 300 did the exact same thing, and the next month they were riding in your car doing the same thing, or they went out and did the exact same thing. Yeah. You now have 40 people doing this once a day the second month, because 10 started and then you had 10% retained. That's 30 plus 10. You now have 40 people. And in that month, if you do the exact same thing, it's 1500 people that you've reached in one now two months time. Now 1500 people that you've reached. If you retain it, the math gets pretty wide. Yeah. You begin to think about this. If you just reach one person every single day. I did the math for you. In six months, that's 436,000 people that you've reached, 58,000 disciples. All right, six months now. I mean, this is crazy dreaming here, but it just takes you reaching one person. Now say 10% is too big of a number. Maybe you got to cut it and say 5%. Well, even still, you now have 30,000 disciples of Jesus Christ. In three months, we just begin stepping out, reaching one person a day. Say, hey, come along, let's do this. Yeah, just. We tithe our money, let's tithe our time. Yeah, let's tithe a piece of our time. Oh, this is a full life gospel. Jesus is asking. I know, listen, when he said the harvest is plentiful, he meant it. Yeah. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. And we are supposed to be. Come on. This is good. I'm not an expert in math, but I just had to do this. All right. Because Jesus said in Matthew 24. He said the end will come when everyone hears. In the entire world. Yeah. This is our commission. Matthew 24:14. When you go and preach to every single person. Yeah. Listen, I'm ready for the Lord to come. All right. Well, in fact, we are called to ask. Pray the Lord's return. Yeah. I want to reemphasize this prayer and outreach and discipleship. Just go home, pray. Begin to stir yourself up in this. Just as fast as the coronavirus can affect the world. My Lord. The Gospel of Jesus Christ saved the heart of man just as fast as an entire family can get a disease. Your whole family can be saved just as fast, if not more. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is extremely more powerful than any disease this world has. Let's just stand. We're going to invite the Holy Spirit right now to stir our.
