In this video I'm going to show you overlooked scriptures from the Bible that have directly resulted in me going from making $1,500 a month to just last month through my real estate and businesses bringing in over hundreds of thousands. And how that is not by chance but by strategies in the word of God. Many Christians quote scriptures or say things like money is the root of all evil. Christians should be poor and living off the bare minimum. Well, the reason I am sharing this today is because many Christians believe that building wealth is not from God and that number two, these scriptures were illuminated to me because I saw the direct correlation to being obedient to them and experiencing abundance and also not following these scriptures and experiencing lack and actually losing a lot of money. First off, the idea that God is separate from business or that business is man's idea is false. We were made to not only be with God, but to work and put our hands to something to grow it. Even Paul the Apostle, one of the most faithful faith filled men in the Bible, worked a job on the side to make money, to support himself and to reach more people. You can imagine if Paul the Apostle was in today's time and an ad popped up in front of you on the Internet promoting Paul's tent making business. Can you imagine how many Christians would react to that? People who don't truly understand what the Bible says. A lot of them would say he just wants to make money. I thought he was in ministry. He shouldn't be making money. Making money. Building wealth and prospering is a God idea, not man's idea. And that is the first concept to understand here that I'm going to show you today. Now hear me. I am not saying that God wants everyone to become a millionaire or that all Christians should be rich. But I am saying God demonstrates multiple times in the Word that wealth is a tool he wants his church to utilize to accomplish his plans on the earth and to destroy the works of the enemy. Even Jesus made money come out of a fish's mouth for me and my wife. God has literally handed us rental properties for free. Literally situations that could only be God. So you can check out some of our other videos where we actually break that down and how that happened. But in Proverbs 13:22, the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the righteous. There are countless scriptures that exemplify God is pro wealth in the hands of his people. So with that being said, who better learn from than the Creator himself? Right? Let's get into it. Scripture number one that made me A millionaire. This is the foundation for my life and the principles I'm going to be sharing. So Matthew 6:33, Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Your priorities being out of order is the number one thing that will ruin your life. Scriptures repeatedly warns us of the temptation to put money as a God in our lives. Psalm 37:25 says, I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread. But the key here is the righteous forsaken. Just like in Matthew 6:33, Seek first His righteousness. When you put money as a priority, you will do things that are not righteous. First commandment. You shall have no other gods but me. Everyone knows the commandments. And another scripture, you cannot serve two masters, both God and money. This is the number one thing to understand. So we are not called to pursue wealth. We are called to pursue God. And on that journey he will lead you and you be given all you need. The only time in the Bible where it actually states that God deliberately gave someone wealth was in in answer to Solomon's desire for wisdom above wealth. You know the story God gave Solomon one wish nothing or anything he would like, and he asked for wisdom, not wealth. And so God gave him more wealth than anyone else. So that leads me to my second point and the second scripture from a man named Solomon. In the book of Proverbs, many studies find that Solomon is the richest man who has ever lived. Many equate Solomon's wealth in today's money to be over $2 trillion. He said in Proverbs 10:13, Wisdom is supreme. So get wisdom even if it costs everything. That's a hard Scripture. Proverbs 3:13 says, Blessed is he who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her and even Warren Buffett, major investor. The best investment you can make is in yourself. The more you learn, the more you'll earn. I can say hands down, the best thing I ever did for my business was invest in mentorship and coaching. I started with a 6k course on creating business. Today, my partner and I spent over $200,000 per year on masterminds. And one of the most impactful moments I've ever experienced in my life was when Jim Rohn was talking about, you know, you can infinitely scale your income because you can infinitely scale your value. Extremely practical step for you right now is to double the amount of time and resources you spend currently on gaining wisdom. Find people who are where you want to be in business, family, life and pay to get around them or just get around them and learn from them. Scripture number three, it's out of Leviticus 27:30, a tenth of the produce of the land, whether gained or fruit, is the Lord's and is holy. This is a subject most people don't want to talk about. And I get it. I've struggled with the same thing because you could typically think of a thousand other ways to spend the money. And you also wonder, are the people who you're giving it to doing what is right? The church or whoever it is. But you must understand, it is not giving to the church, it is giving to God. And I'm not saying giving 10% of your income and you will get 10 to 20 or anything back. But it is rooted in a principle that will hold you back from producing more. And that principle is generosity and understanding that God is ultimately the one who gives you the ability to make wealth in the first place. He's just lending you that money to see if he can trust you. He wants to know if you will be faithful with little so he can give you much. Okay, once you understand, God owns it all. Just like the example of Solomon shows us. God is just looking for someone to be able to steward what he gives us. Read the parable of the talents. The most dangerous thing is not handling his money correctly and hiding your money, not taking risk. Scripture number four and going along with the previous one in Isaiah 1:9, if you are willing and obedient, you will eat of the good things of the land. I own several businesses that essentially work for myself and have always been very independent, being self driven, making my own plans. The number one thing I had to learn in walking with Jesus is there is much more freedom in putting him as the leader of everything I do right. So seeking him in my decisions actually frees me. So similar to the previous scripture, we must learn the power of making God the CEO of your business in life. I'll say this. To the degree you implement this, one step will be the degree you see massive success and the potential is completely endless. Last Scripture, Proverbs 21:5, the plans of the diligent leads to abundance and advantage. Some versions say lead to profit and it says, but everyone who acts in haste comes surely to poverty. First off, especially at a high level, being diligent is not easy. Diligence is hard. I was listening to John Maxwell say, those who accept Life is hard, have it much easier. If you don't think life is hard, you will be challenged for the rest of your life. Diligence requires you to push past the mundane and the moments you feel inadequate or like you are being stretched. Understand this. Everything you want in life is outside of your comfort zone. The question is, are you willing to push past your comfort zone? Face the hard times that will come. Be consistent and diligent to get what you feel called to in life. King David was anointed to be king and between then and when he was actually crowned king, it took 15 years. God is not in a rush to get you to your goal. He wants you to become the type of person that can handle the pressure and ultimately sustain the calling and success for the long term. I heard a powerful quote, bigger dreams for you than God, but the greater the dream, the greater the test. So be prepared to be tested in your diligence if you want to go far. One of my favorite scriptures, A wise man leaves an inheritance for his children's children. Think about that. That is a lot of wealth, right? To be able to have something that passes down for 100 plus years. So to conclude this last scripture, if you can think long term and be diligent, the Bible gives you a formula and a promise that you will see outsized returns and a profit. I hope these passages and stories help you in your journey to what God has for you and your life. All right, God bless you.
