Why Business Giants Like Steve Jobs & Jeff Bezos Say This is Non-Negotiable

This single-speaker YouTube talk (by Jonathan Cronin) argues that passion and a clear vision (one's "why") are non-negotiable for business success. The speaker connects personal testimony, client examples, and biblical passages (Habakkuk 2:2; Proverbs) to show that vision must be written down, revisited frequently, and explored at least three layers deep to motivate long-term discipline, generational-wealth goals, and resilient teamwork.
Both Steve Jobs and Jeff Bezos both said that you must have passion or you will not succeed. Especially in business. Okay, why is that important to have passion? Because business will test everything you have. And to be really great, you have to do it until it's a discipline and a chore. Now, that may sound horrible, but I believe you can create passion for the things you do. My partner and I have been wildly successful and in business, in real estate, and many other things. But our most pride and thing that we love the most, the thing that we're most passionate about, is seeing other people do the same thing, helping other people do the same thing. And the beautiful thing about that for us is we believe so much in teamwork and team effort that it's a win win. It's not just us helping someone. If we help someone, it elevates all of us. So what is the key to vision? Key to vision is knowing your okay. And so what I want to talk about is how to create your why, how to create your vision. Okay? Habakkuk 2:2 says, make the vision plain, write it out, get clear, so that he who reads it may run with it. Okay, so we want to talk about generational wealth. We want to talk about all these things. First off, you've got to create it. Second off, you need someone to run with it, right? So the first step, get clear, write it out, make the vision plain that he may who reads it, may run with it. Okay, I do an event several times a year with our top clients and we come together to strategize, to game plan, to get ready for the next quarter. And every single time, just about, we talk about our why. In the beginning, so many people may be listening, thinking, man, it's woo, woo, you know, it's kind of, it's all, you know, why do we need to talk about vision and our why? But amongst people and our top clients are people that have scaled businesses to multiple eight figures in a short amount of time, sometimes longer. But every single one of them are high level people. And then you walk into the room when we're talking about our why, and you see people crying, you see people getting emotional. Because at the end of the day, business will test everything you have. If it's important for us at a high level to revisit our why, the people who are at the highest level revisit their why several times. They're constantly revisiting that. And that is critical for your success as well. So number one thing that creates a vision is knowing why are you Here, why are you in business? So here's the practical way that you're going to be able to do this. Number one, you ask yourself, not just why am I in business, but why am I here? What is my purpose? I. I shared a video recently of how God can help you do that. Watch that. It's about becoming like a child, listening for the Lord. But number two, don't just stop with your initial surface level. Answer for me. I want to create generational wealth. I want to help people change their life. I want to improve my life, right? I want to see my family be able to experience more things on vacations. I want to see my family be able to go to another level. Right? That's on the surface. Why? That's nothing to get emotional about. That's nothing that's really going to motivate you. What's your why behind that? What do you want? Right? Without vision, my people perish. Meaning with vision, they thrive. You need vision like you need air, like you need water, like you need oxygen. That's in Proverbs, the book of Proverbs, okay? Been one of the most pivotal scriptures of my life is without vision, my people perish. And you can drive a company with vision and culture. We're going to talk more about that in later videos. But first thing, write out the vision or write out your initial why. And then ask yourself, here's number two, why is that why important? Sometimes we'll find people say, well, I, you know, my brother, I'm. My brother, when I was a kid, told me I would never be good, I would never do anything great. I'm competing with my brother just to prove my brother wrong, right? There's other people that have intense whys of, you know, I've been felt like I've been attacked my whole life. The enemy has come against my family. We've lost so much money, we've lost all this, whatever it is. We've lost so many family members. And we just want to. I've heard one of my top clients say, I want to stop the loss. And there's many whys. So ask yourself, what is underneath that why? And go three layers deep. I want you to go three layers deep. A lot of times it's connected. Why is it important that your family experiences nice things that you create generational wealth? For me, God radically changed my life. I was a drug addict. I feel like I should be not here, should be in hell. I should not be here. But God radically changed my life. He came in and things radically changed so now I just want to give it all to him. And I could connect it to childhood memories. I can connect it to all kinds of things. How I why do I do the things I do? If you get that, you can create a vision statement that reflects those things. You can create the ability to envision your future. And why do you do the things you do is the motivator behind those things. So keep that in mind. And that is going to set the foundation for our next videos and for you to truly see wealth creation and the success you want.
