A short monologue by Jonathan Cronin describing an outreach tactic called “event arbitrage” for finding potential real-estate-investing contacts on LinkedIn. He explains searching for real-estate-investing events, registering to view attendee lists, and then connecting with attendees who’ve already expressed interest.
So I'm gonna share it with you. We call it event arbitrage. And that is where we're gonna go and we're gonna find events. And again, you can just type in that same search, Real estate investing. Click on events this time instead of groups or people. So you go to events, and now you're gonna find real estate investing. Events are gonna have. You're gonna have multifamily, you're gonna have people talking about tax strategy, all those kinds of things where your people are likely to be hanging out. They've already raised their hand. So when you go into that, I just. This is an example of one. You go in, you see this one had 82 attendees. Well, you can't see who those attendees are until you click to attend. So once you click to attend or register, now you can click on that 82 people, and it opens up that window to the right, you see? And now you can connect with each one of those people.
