Okay, I'm gonna play and show you my new song, or my new release in this piano book, "When I Am Baptized/Somewhere Over the Rainbow." This song has been, it's my number 1 song played on Spotify worldwide, which is really cool. But apparently a lot of people want to be able to play this at a baptism as a special musical number, kind of in between a baptism or something like that. But, and it's very simple, right? It's It mixes, right, just some Somewhere Over the Rainbow with When I'm Baptized. Um, the reason I played this, it wasn't much more than just thinking, oh, okay, um, the word rainbow is in this song. I like to look for rainbows whenever there is rain is how the song When I'm Baptized starts. And so Mike just sat down and kind of made it up, and it's a fun one. It's very simple. It's not that complicated. It does play through, obviously, the song "When I Am Baptized," and it plays all the way through the melody of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." So yeah, I'll just play it through, and I might stop somewhere if I want to point something out. But here's the new song. It's available now at JonCheney.com. So this part right here is kind of weird. Probably needs a little bit of a marking there that just says to slow down. Um, you want to just So this song is really quite simple. I just played it through and it doesn't, you know, it's very easy, but it's very pretty and it's going to be really good for one of those baptism kind of moments. You want to just be reverent but really pretty and unique. And the thing that's exciting about it that gets people excited isn't The piano isn't always just, you know, banging on the piano. It doesn't have to be that to be exciting and impressive. The thing that moves people is when something happens that they don't expect. And you don't really expect to hear the song Somewhere Over the Rainbow at church usually. But when dressed up properly and mixed in with a nice beautiful hymn like When I'm Baptized, you can do some really cool things. So enjoy this song.
