Hi, I'm Joni Patry, and welcome to my YouTube channel. Well, today I want to talk about the new moon, which is October 10th, and this new moon is going to be In the sign of Virgo. And yes, I am a sidereal Vedic astrologer. These placements will be different in tropical Western astrology. So before I get going, remember what I'm going to be talking about is where all the planets are relative to the moon on October 10th. This nakshatra is so strong and powerful. Hasta means hand, and it deals with grasping onto things, holding on to things, and it deals intensely with emotion because actually that nakshatra, Hasta, is ruled by the moon. So the moon represents The public. The public, the masses, what's going on in the world. And being in Virgo, don't you know that things are going to be— people are really focusing in on the details. What's wrong? How do we fix things? This is so Virgo. And scrutinizing, analyzing, criticizing what we can do to improve things and make things better. But here's what makes this new moon different. It's opposed Saturn, and Saturn is the planet that deals with heavy responsibility. And during this time, if you're feeling like things are heavier— and yeah, we just came off the first 2, 3 days, 4 days of this month with all those intense aspects— things are kind of Crazy now. And now's the time we got to figure out how to get things right from all the uproar and intensity of things going crazy in the world. It's— we never seem to get a break, I think. But this is where people are going to start getting it together. Why? Because not only is it Virgo, but Saturn aspecting this Virgo Moon represents really the karma of things. What is karmically happening? And we know what karma means— what you put out, you get back. Karma is retribution or things for actions we do. So if we're good, we get good things. If we're bad, we get bad things, just to make it completely simple. But this is intense. Now we have Mars and Jupiter lining up together in Cancer. And the reason why this is so important is Cancer's ruled by the Moon, and therefore it means there's a lot of insecurity in the world at this time. And this is a new beginning of people really digging deep to find their security, and half of this does deal with Money, finances. Why? Because this new moon is in an earth sign. How are we going to fix things? How are we going to change the effects of the expenses in the economy? And Saturn makes it heavy. When are things going to change? Will they ever change? It's heavy. It's a little depressing, if I could say, with Saturn here. But by this time, this new moon, we have the Venus retrograde, and Venus is in Libra, bringing, bringing a time of negotiations. And with a retrograde Venus, yes, it is about relationships during this time, looking deeper into our own relationships and what's been happening and how to heal them, how to find peace within our own self, in our own life. That's really what this moon has to deal with. And many times, a lot of these issues around peace To find security. I'm getting peace, security are keywords for this this entire month because of Mars, Jupiter, and Cancer is all about security. But the Venus Mercury and Venus and Mercury will eventually be retrograde. It deals with money. They go to the second. sign from where the moon is. And this deals with cleaning up all the major expenses that have been rising throughout this time in this year. This new moon starts a new progressive thought about getting serious with Saturn, about changing the world so it's affordable. That's going to be everything that's discussed and worked on from this new moon. This new moon is monumental for clearing the air, fixing things, analyzing things, and really answers will come with this very serious thought. Answers and answers to problems that have been raging for such a long time. Mark my words, there's going to be a big change, and there needs to be. So it's kind of a time to pull back, reassess, analyze, and fix, and be serious about your thoughts, your spending, and everything that's happening in the world. Today.
