Hi, my name is Jorge Cruise, and I'm known as the number one weight loss strategist to the world's busiest celebrities. I'm also a multiple New York Times bestselling diet author with over 30 books and 12 million fans. You may have seen my work with Oprah Winfrey, Khloe Kardashian, Tyra Banks, Kelly Clarkson, or even Dr. Oz. My career started in my early 20s because I was a addicted to sugar, carbs, and salty snacks, and experts told me to simply count calories to get control. They were wrong. My passion to get radical control over hunger has led me to find a study-proven way that creates Zero Hunger and helps my clients drop 2 pounds each day. And I know I can help you too. Welcome to the Zero Hunger Revolution. Well, happy Monday. This is Jorge, and welcome to the Jorge Cruise Show. It is February 15th, President's Day. Some of us have the day off. I'm working. Welcome. I love a Monday. For me, Mondays are the time I not only check in, get on the scale, take a selfie, get my clients to focus. You know, we had our newsletter go out last night. Hopefully you got the Zero Hunger Sunday email. And today, guys, we are actually going to do something that so many, so many of you have been asking me to do, and that is to share on a podcast the actual Zero Hunger water recipe. Zero Hunger Water is basically a tool that I've developed that turns off hunger, really utilizing some incredible nutritional science that no one talks about. This idea that we're deficient in minerals, specifically sodium, potassium, and magnesium. And when you get the right mix of these 3 minerals and you put it to 32 ounces of water, and you can make it taste great too— I'll, we'll talk about how to make it taste good with monk fruit or stevia, cacao powder, lemon lime. You can make this taste amazing. You literally, though, can utilize this to turn off hunger for 23 hours. Uh, now some of you may not need it for that length of time, and I have certain clients that use it for up to 3 days to give themselves an extended— this is called an extended fast— for autophagy and for cellular rejuvenation, from stem cells to recoiling skin. So whatever you want to do, if you just want to have more control, radical control over your hunger, that's what today's show is all about. You're going to have the recipe right now that's going to give you the ability to have not just confidence, but truly turn off hunger. And it's all about, uh, baselining cortisol, which is the trigger usually for most of us. And so this beverage that you make at home, it's homemade, literally will turn off hunger for 2 to 3 hours. And then my clients will usually drink 3 to 4 of these in a day. Again, it's 32 ounces, and, uh, and they just make it to dinner and then they have a great dinner and they're ready to rock and roll again. So it's really a fun, fun, simple biohack that, you know, it's taken me 25 years of my entire career to kind of develop and come to this point, and I love it. But before we do that, guys, I got to give thanks to our sponsors. So stay tuned because we're going to be talking Zero Hunger Water in just a few minutes. But I want to thank first Elemental Labs. So check it out, go to zerohungerplan.com. All right. With that said, guys, let's talk about Zero Hunger water and how to make this at home. Literally, I'm going to give you the recipe that Woman's World magazine featured last week. Their February 8th issue was for the Super Bowl, and Sandy, a client of mine and now a dear friend, was on the COVID She lost 93 pounds, got off her cholesterol medications, and this is the very recipe she used as well. And as— oh my clients do, and it's super simple. It just requires 3 simple ingredients, truly 3, and you're set to go. The recipe I'm going to give you serves for— it has 48 servings, so it's very efficient. I think more importantly, it's going to give you the power to literally turn off hunger. Now I'll tell you the rules to this. You want to use 32 ounces of water, so make sure it's always that, not less water. Guys, listen to It has to be 32 ounces of water. I usually use a water bottle that's marked at 32 ounces. And then the other thing is you want to drink it within a 20-minute window, alright? Now this will probably turn off your hunger for up to 2 to 3 hours. For some of you longer, for some of you less. This will not cause bloating. That's a high-sugar, high-carb diet that usually causes bloating and inflammation from carbohydrates that— So let me give you the 3 ingredients, guys. This is it. It is time to get out a sheet of paper, jot this down, and also know that if for some reason you're driving or listening to this at the gym or you've got your hands busy, you can go to zero, zero, zerohungerplan.com and click on the plan and you can get a whole copy of this recipe and the article that was in Woman's World magazine. So here it is, guys, 3 ingredients to make the electrolyte mix simple. So the first ingredient, it's super simple. It's salt, otherwise known as sodium. Sodium and salt are the same thing, doesn't matter. You need half a cup of salt. Pretty simple. Now, if you were to ask me, Jorge, does it matter which brand? It really does not, but there is one brand I really like because it's from an ancient mine 6 miles underground in Utah. You can get it commercially on Amazon, get it anywhere. It's called Redmond's Real Salt. Uh, it's amazing. I I love it. I use that exclusively, but you can also use pink Himalayan sea salt, which you can get at Costco. I mean, just try to avoid a salt that comes from a lake. Usually lakes, anything that's surface gets contaminated with today's world with plastics. You want to avoid that. But half a cup of salt, guys, sodium. That's it. That's ingredient number 1. Number 2, are you ready, guys? So half a cup of sodium. Number 2, you want 1 3/4 teaspoon of potassium chloride powder. Say it again, 1 3/4 teaspoon of potassium chloride powder. Uh, one of my favorite brands is just Now Foods brand. It's simple. Now you're saying, Jorge, half a cup of salt and then 1 3/4 teaspoon of potassium chloride powder? Yup, it's just a small amount. It's not a lot. So that's the second ingredient, potassium chloride. Powder. Remember, potato— not potassium, potassium chloride powder. And again, all this is at zerohungerplan.com. You can get the recipe, you can get all the links to Amazon. It's also on jorgecruzeshow.com under the show notes for today's show, episode 110. All right, so, and the third and final ingredient is magnesium glycinate or malate powder. Magnesium glycate or malate powder. Now you need even less here, half a teaspoon. So it's a half a teaspoon of magnesium glycate or magnesium malate powder, half a teaspoon, that's it, half a teaspoon, it's not a lot. My favorite brand there is Doctor's Best brand, but it doesn't matter, it really doesn't. So you don't need much at all. Remember, this is for 48 servings. You're using half a teaspoon spread out over 48 servings is not a lot of magnesium glycate or magnesium malate. All right, that's the third ingredient. Working backwards, ingredient number 2 was 1 3/4 teaspoons of potassium chloride powder. Potassium chloride, the brand I recommended again was Now Foods brand. You get that on Amazon. And again, the big and main ingredient is sodium. Again, half a cup of sodium salt. You guys know which brands to get. Just get one that you enjoy, that you can get readily. And all these items, all three, you can get them at zerohungerplan.com under the plan. Or if you're a listener of the podcast, you know the podcast website is jorgecruzeshow.com, and under show notes for 110, episode 110, which is today's episode, you can also get the recipe there. So the recipe is everywhere. I'm also posting it on Instagram, instagram.com/jorgecruise. So it's It's gonna be everywhere. And we even have an Instagram for Zero Hunger Plan. That's instagram.com/zerohungerplan. It'll be there as well. I'm not trying to hide this recipe. I want you all to benefit from this. Now, that's basically all you need. Those are the required ingredients. Now, the optional ingredients is using monk fruit or stevia. The amount is based on your sweet tooth. Monk fruit, guys, jot that down, or stevia. I like both. You have to play with brands. I'm not gonna recommend a brand because they're all, different and just a custom flavor. And none of it is fake or artificial. Stevia, monk fruit are natural plant-based sweeteners, and use them in moderation, but they're healthy and zero calories. And then I like to use either citrus fruit slices or squeeze some lemon or lime in there, mint sometimes. There's different stevia sweetened products that you can use as well. You want to be cautious though. Remember, you don't want sugar in this. You don't want a lot of sugar, and the sugar that we're recommending is natural plant-based stevia or monk fruit. It's not going to have any calories. It's not going to cause your insulin to go up, so it won't break a fast. It will help you do that. It's critical you don't use sugar or real carbs or any of that in this beverage. You got to keep it sugar-free. You really do. It's just really the minerals, and usually stevia or monk fruit will do it, you know, a little lemon, a little lime, that's fine. Uh, be cautious of anything that's going to be complicated. You can also add cacao powder, which is what I do, a small amount. Make sure it's a low low carbohydrate version of it. I like Navitas, they make one that's really low carb. And you can make it like a chocolate version, and the sweetness again is coming from the zero calorie sweetener that's natural, plant-based, stevia, or monk fruit. And that's basically it. And so what I do is I take all these ingredients, the biggest being half a cup of the pink Himalayan salt, right, or the Redmond salt, or whatever the sodium source you're gonna use. You put it in some sort of lidded jar and you shake all 3 together. Shake it up and you have 48 servings. And then basically, here's what you do, guys. For each serving of Zero Hunger Water, you add half a teaspoon and you're done, to 32 ounces of water. That is important, guys, all right? That's the recipe. It truly is that simple. It's a toss-together recipe. You make this once a week. If you use a lot, you can make it every 2 weeks. If you're using less, again, you're gonna listen to your body to know how much to do. And remember, what you're listening for is hunger. If you feel that trigger of hunger, this will correct the cortisol in your body, turning off hunger, and it's like magic. It really does work, guys. And if you want to know more about the science behind it, have, um, take a minute to listen to, uh, Robb Wolf and I speak on episode 107, where he talks about this, uh, from a perspective of a biochemist and cortisol and how this turns off hunger, because it is scientific. This is study-proven. Study after study after study has shown that we are deprived of sodium, magnesium, and potassium, and by restoring that and correcting it, you get control, you get radical control over your hunger. You feel no hunger, and more importantly, you can fast for as long as you want. I recommend to my clients do 23 hours, have a nice meal, a sensible dinner, 5 o'clock, 6 o'clock, have a nice meal. You're ready to rock and roll. And if you want to learn more about this whole method, remember, go to zerohungerplan.com. Sign up for my free newsletter that comes out on Sundays. We just sent one out yesterday, literally the inaugural issue went out. So if you guys have been waiting for the recipe, check your inbox, check your spam box, but sign up for that free there, guys. And please share this podcast, this recipe, with your loved ones, with anyone who's been counting calories, counting points. No disrespect to Weight Watchers, uh, but I can tell you the science is so evolved. Counting calories does not work. It assumes that all macronutrients are the same, and they're not. Fat is different, protein is different. It's carbohydrates, sugar, and the salty snack foods we got to be cautious of. And remember, it's not the salt, it's not— it's the snack food. It's the potato, it's the corn chip. This recipe, the Zero Hunger Water recipe, will turn off that drive that you may have, that craving you may need for carbs. Because I can promise you, tell me if I'm right or wrong, You're not craving eggs or steak, you're craving sugar and carbs. So this is how we do it, guys.
