#135 - Zero Hunger Water: Martha’s Orange Spritz
11 Aug 2021 · 12 min
In this episode of the Zero Hunger Guide podcast, host Jorge Cruise introduces his Zero Hunger Water concept—a mineral‑rich electrolyte drink designed to suppress appetite and support intermittent fasting. He explains the health benefits of fasting, including rapid weight loss, reduced waist circumference, and longevity. Cruise then details the basic Zero Hunger Water recipe (½ tsp pink salt, 1/64 tsp magnesium glycinate, 1/32 tsp potassium in 32 oz water) and promotes Elemental Labs’ on‑the‑go sachets, offering a free $45 box via zerohungerwater.com. He also advertises a free lemon‑chipotle mayonnaise from Primal Kitchen. To honor Martha Stewart’s 80th birthday, Cruise modifies the base drink into a citrus orange spritzer: replace still water with sparkling water, add half an orange or lemon, and sweeten with stevia or monk fruit. He provides a contact email (Jorge@ZeroHungerGuide.com) for listener feedback and encourages listeners to try the recipe, visit the referenced URLs, and enjoy the fasting lifestyle.

Happy Tuesday night. It's Jorge Cruise. It's August 10th. And welcome to the Zero Hunger Guide podcast. I'm thrilled you're here. This is the number one podcast to help you get radical control over your appetite so you eat less sugar and carbs and salty snack foods when you're hungry. And I think really it's to help us do what I call intermittent fasting. A lot of people are doing this throughout the country, but what it does is it helps you drop weight quickly. It helps you drop up to 25 belly inches and belly inches, my friends, It's everything. A high waist circumference pretty much dictates whether you get type 2 diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and even COVID-19. So if any of those things concern you, this is the podcast to help you get radical control over your appetite so you turn off your hunger and you can do what I would say is a 21 to 23 hour fast daily as a lifestyle. That's what I do. I'm now 50 and I do it now for longevity as well, because intermittent fasting and eating one meal a day, OMAD, OMAD, OMAD, one meal a day, is truly one of the most important ways to extend lifespan and increase telomere health. So all of that is about turning off your hunger so you forget to eat, so you're not suffering. That is my goal for you, is to enjoy the process. You have energy throughout the process. You can go to the gym without eating. You can really do that. And tonight we're talking about Zero Hunger Water. Now, because it's a dear friend's birthday, we are taking tonight's Zero Hunger Water and making it into an orange spritzer in honor of the birthday girl herself, drum roll, Martha Stewart, 80 years young last Tuesday. So belated happy birthday to you, Martha. I love you. I'm sending you my care, my love. Thank you for all your support over the last 20 years. I've been in studio with her. She's phenomenal. Love Martha Stewart. And now at 80, you guys know, if you haven't seen her with Snoop Dogg, she's on Discovery Plus. Check out her new show. And electrolytes, my friends, after 20 years of being an author and writing over 30 books and 13 on the New York Times, in my opinion, it's all about a mineral imbalance. The box is the one from Elemental Labs, and you're gonna love it, guys. We got one more thing. Primal Kitchen— love their products. Primal Kitchen makes an avocado oil world of dressings and mayonnaise that turn off hunger. Avocado oil is anti-inflammatory. It helps my skin and joints stay good. It helps my skin stay young and Best of all, because it's fat, healthy fat, it turns off hunger further. I put 2 to 3 dollops of his mayonnaise on my steak, or if I'm having grilled chicken, or if I'm having fish on there to give it extra fat. It's delicious, guys. It makes avocados amazing. And he has one that I love. I asked Mark, can we please give this to all the listeners? And he said yes. So if you guys go to the following URL, primalkitchen.com/jorgecruise, you're going to get a free lemon chipotle mayonnaise that is my favorite. It is absolutely delicious and you get it for free. Simply go to primalkitchen.com/jorgecruise, Jorge Cruise. Let's get started with tonight's Zero Hunger Water recipe. Happy birthday, Martha. I love you. And in honor of her, here's how we're going to modify the recipe. You're going to take the base recipe that you can get at that URL I just mentioned, zerohungerwater.com. Basically, it's a half a teaspoon of salt. That's it, guys. Half a teaspoon of salt in 32 ounces of water. This is my favorite one. If you're watching on video, it's pink salt, Himalayan pink salt, or Redmond sea salt is my favorite brand in the US. Half a teaspoon, guys, not more than a half a teaspoon. That is a half a teaspoon, right, in 32 ounces. Don't make it less. All right, now if you can add the last 2 ingredients, that'd be great. Magnesium glycinate. Again, go to zerohungerwater.com to get the spelling in the links, 1/64th of a teaspoon magnesium, and then potassium, 1/32nd of a teaspoon right there. All right guys, again, the exact links and all that at zerohungerwater.com. Those are the 3 main ingredients to Zero Hunger Water. That's what turns off false hunger. It super hydrates us and makes us turn off hunger so we can forget to eat. Now, what are we doing to modify it in honor of Martha Stewart is we're adding lemon, orange— I like both— to make it a citrus spritzer. So you're going to I want you to substitute out plain water for sparkling water, 32 ounces of sparkling water with the recipe I just gave you. And then I want you to squeeze maybe half of an orange or lemon into the water to make it citrusy and add stevia for sweetness without the sugar. Stevia is my favorite sweetener out there. I've always used Sweet Leaf. Sweet Leaf is a great company. Stevia is the way to go. Also monk fruit. I do love monk fruit. I recommend monk fruit or stevia. Squeeze the lemon and, and oranges, not too much, especially the orange. Orange is gonna be sweeter. I like it a little more lemon, but Martha likes orange, so it is her birthday. So we're doing it Martha's way. Orange, particularly if you can get dark oranges, is her favorite. So check that out. All in honor of Miss Martha Stewart. Happy 80 years young and happy no hunger for you, because you will forget to eat by drinking this. The minerals, the sodium, the magnesium, the potassium is what turns off that false hunger. If you have any questions, simply shoot me an email tonight at Jorge@ZeroHungerGuide.com. That's Jorge@ZeroHungerGuide.com. Zero, Z-E-R-O, hungerguy.com. I look forward to your feedback. Let me know what you think of the, of the spritzer, and have a great night. Peace and purpose.
