#3 - How to reduce inflammation without medication
2 Oct 2019 · 35 min
Jorge Cruise talks with Greg Johnson, CEO of Pulse Centers, about pulsed electromagnetic field therapy for reducing inflammation and pain. PEMF technology recharges cell voltage to improve healing, and it's FDA-cleared for post-surgical bone healing, anxiety, sleep, and athletic recovery. Al Roker, Tony Robbins, and Steve Harvey use it.

Hi, I'm Jorge Cruise, number one New York Times bestselling author and celebrity trainer, and I want to welcome you to the all-new Jorge Cruise Podcast.
Every week I'll bring you the shortcuts to work better, reduce pain, improve memory, garden more, and even sleep better. It's not just about intermittent fasting or getting a flat belly. My mission is to give you simple ways that will empower you to to live as you choose. Welcome to the Jorge Cruise Podcast.
I am thrilled to have as a special guest the man who has been running Pulse Centers. And if you guys don't know what Pulse Centers are, you're going to discover a cellular workout that is revolutionizing the way people improve their health. It's changed my life. And the man who's running the shop now for over a year, he's become a dear friend. His name is Greg Johnson. He's CEO and he's an incredible man that has an incredible passion for health. And for anyone listening, you're going to learn what PEMF is in a minute here. And it is literally a revolution, in my opinion, in a type of exercise that occurs at a cellular level that for anyone out there, you know, because you guys know that I work with people like Al Roker or Dorinda Medley from the Housewives of New York. Anyone who's in midlife, you know, and even if they're a little younger, like a Jessica Simpson in her late 30s, or, you know, or like Steve Harvey who's in his 60s, you know, I feel like we all need ways to improve our health, from sleep to stress reduction to pain management. And I feel like this pulse technology that you've now been involved with is, you know, a little longer than I have, has been changing the world, but it's been off the radar. And I feel like you have made this something that— I remember we were in Atlanta for the Super Bowl just this last game, right? It was so fabulous. What a great event you had. But tell people how you heard about it and what this acronym PEMF is and why, in my opinion, it is the future of a cellular type of workout. But tell them how you got involved in this and then obviously tell us what from your perspective, this PMF is and why we all need it in our lives. And this for everyone.
I'd be happy to. And I feel very, very fortunate that I am having the opportunity to steward this business. And to be very, very clear, Pulse Centers is becoming one of those great American business stories. And of course, I've been a part of it now for a year, but it really goes back to our founders, Paul and Tessa Webb, and in particular Paul, whose, whose story to found the company is one that was born in a place of absolute authenticity. Authenticity defined by pain. And I'm not just talking about pain. I'm talking suicidal pain, Jorge. And you know, you've met Paul. You've spent— I remember this fellow is straight off of central casting entrepreneur.
Yeah. Yeah.
And he, he literally is either one of the most fortunate, as he would say, fortunate people. But for more than a decade of his life, I think you could make a strong case that he was not so fortunate. He was involved in a series of auto accidents and was lucky to survive. He was the victim of a gang assault. Believe it or not, it was just a horrible series of events. And by good fortune, one evening he was using the computer for the forces of good, not evil, and he was trying to find anything to, you know, help him. He was not able to sleep with any duration at all. He found his way into very primitive forms of this technology, right? And that was really the spark. And that day, actually, we call it Founders Day now, but that day was actually Friday, September 29th, 2006. You had asked me earlier to say, you know, what is this whole PMF?
Yeah, tell us, tell us.
Yeah, 2 years ago I couldn't even spell PMF. You know, I spent 23 years working in businesses that were trying to help people achieve financial wellness. And somebody that was on the strategic advisory board of this company, Paul Centers, actually was a mutual friend. He's a very prominent billionaire here in Atlanta. I had done some work with him and out of the blue he's like, I can't believe I hadn't made this connection before, but you know, Greg, you need to meet this fella, Paul Webb. And he has just a honeysuckle dripping Southern accent, Jorge. Yeah. Straight up, straight out of central casting. And he'd be like, you know, Huckleberry Hound-like a voice. You know, we joke about it now, but he's like, you gotta meet this feller, Paul. And, you know, he needs a CEO. And I'm like, I don't even know what PEMF is.
Well, would you break it down, the acronym? Because I know everyone's wondering, what does it stand for? So tell us how it breaks down and then obviously why it's so important. Kind of get to the meat of it. And then let's continue the conversation because I feel like— Absolutely. The benefits are extraordinary and it requires no effort, which, you know, my name has become kind of an acronym, Jorge Cruise for shortcuts. But truly, this is the future of exercise.
I mean, if folks haven't had you, haven't read your most recent book, I mean, there's some hacks there that are revolutionizing wellness for a lot of people in your own right. But no, but look, we did not invent pulsed electromagnetic fields or PEMF. As a matter of fact, Mother Nature did. PEMF is an electromagnetic field. That the earth produces naturally. As a matter of fact, before all the high-rises, concrete jungles, Wi-Fi technology, 5G, 4G, 17G, whatever it is, people actually, when we were laying on the ground, people would call it grounding.
There it is.
As a matter of fact, up until even 100 years ago, if you had money and you were, you know, in a European country, you might, as well as getting prescribed aspirin or another treatment, People might prescribe that for your ailments or what was ailing you, for you to go lay out on the ground for 4 or 5 hours at a time.
Oh yeah, yeah. And there is so much science behind this, Greg. I know people may think—
It's unbelievable. The science, it's interesting, there's been a disconnect. There was a disconnect in the States probably from 1950 until, oh, about 15 years ago. But the work that was being done in PEMF at universities like Yale and Harvard, et cetera, was volumes worth. Unbelievable. But really what I want to get across is if we have one person to really credit for taking what happens naturally, the phenomenon in nature, you'd have to go to Nikola Tesla. You know, the, the namesake of the Tesla automobile company. But he was really the pioneer of alternating and direct current, AC/DC, and harnessing electricity, the Tesla coil. And from some of his early research, the, the notion of being able to create devices that would be able to channel a pulsed electromagnetic field for wellness and for benefit began. Now, early on, the Soviet Union and Eastern European companies— or countries, rather— actually took the lead on this. As a matter of fact, the Soviets were probably— deserved most of the credit during their space program. They were developing this technology to aid their cosmonauts. To a large degree. Well, the reality is now because of the leadership that Paul Webb has provided, his incredible vision, what Paul has been able to do is to develop technology that safely, consistently develops, applies PEMF in a variety of different ways, has revolutionized quite frankly human wellness.
Oh, it's huge.
That's really what's going on and you've been privy to this now for a while and you know this to be true.
Well, you know, and I feel like at one point, you know, I had the privilege years years ago when I started my publishing career to become very dear friends with a true journalist and revolutionary kind of founder of Rodale Publications. I don't know if you remember Prevention magazine. It's one of the oldest magazines out there. And I had a chance to meet Ardith Rodale in Emmaus, Pennsylvania. And I remember this is back in 2000. And she had me as I was a first-time author. I published— I hadn't published a single book. I had been on Oprah. I had been working with Anthony Robbins. He agreed to write the introduction in my 8 Minute in the Morning book. And I remember making the visit. I flew to Manhattan, but then I took a bus. I was in my 20s to Emmaus. Oh my gosh, it was a Greyhound. And went out to Emmaus, Pennsylvania, the headquarters of back then Rodale Press, which published my very first book in 2001 called 8 Minutes in the Morning, and had a beautiful lunch and then sit-down with Ardith Rodell. And if you Google her name, Ardith Rodell, she was the wife of Mr. Rodell that started the whole company and kind of picked it up from his father's legacy. And guess what we did back in 2001? And I thought back then that she was a little out there, but she had me, before we had a meal, go outside, take off my shoes, and not just ground myself into the ground, but we hugged a tree. She loved hugging trees. And, you know, she had us do this for 5 minutes. And, you know, when it's the CEO of your publishing company, you know, you kind of go out there and you get into it.
I have a visual. I have a visual.
Oh my gosh. And but I'll tell you, from that day on, I was, you know, I was, you know, she's not a quack. This isn't some woman who just was, you know, crazy. She ran the biggest media company back in the 2000s. You know, her husband had passed. And since then, now Hearst Publications has picked up the magazine and Random House, who publishes Cruise Control, has bought all the books from them. And so the company has become part of a conglomerate. But back then, this woman with the real last name of Rodell taught me about grounding. And I, you know, but there was no practical form that I knew of other than doing that. And I know it's not practical for people that I work with, celebrities that are on, you know, concrete sets at Paramount Studios and all that. But I love what you've done because I've brought my table because, you know, Tell them what you sent to me because when we met, you sent me a little gift package of this incredible technology. And literally, guys, envision a massage table, but this is not your average massage table because it has the technology built into it. And I lay there every day for 5 to 10 minutes. It doesn't take more than 10 for me at least. And I get literally the most magnificent deep tissue cellular workout. Is that how— am I doing it justice there?
Yeah, cellular PEMF exercise. But I think you're getting the gist gist of it. No, what we sent to you, yeah, was actually the full professional, uh, kit that some of our practitioners, uh, use on, on their clients. And I think it's important to, to note that the business is evolving so quickly, and I know we're going to talk about it in a bit, but yeah, just, just early on, if you can imagine, the, the company owes a debt of gratitude— our company does— to the chiropractic industry.
Oh yeah, yeah.
The progressive chiropractors. It's interesting, sometimes they unfairly get a bad rap as an industry, and I don't know where that started, but I can tell you that it's there. And it's ironic to me because progressive modern chiropractic has done more to advance American wellness than perhaps anybody else but you, Jorge. I gotta tell you. Oh, please, please. You know, it's amazing what they've done. And really these early adopters, took Paul's technology, essentially what you have that you're looking at right now, and they realized that this could complement traditional adjusting from a chiropractic perspective and help engineer better outcomes for their folks. Yeah. So primarily the only use for this technology was with pain relief, people that have been suffering for a long period of time. And I think it's important for your listeners to know as well that the FDA has approved PEMF for several different applications. Yes, years and years. As a matter of fact, it's approved for post-surgical bone knitting, in certain circumstances for incontinence, for anxiety, and things of that nature. And it goes on and on and on. But the reality is that Paul is relentless about R&D. So what he realized is that we needed to create a total body experience. Yeah. So if you can picture a contoured massage table, And embedded in that table is essentially the PEMF technology that's powered by a single solid-state plant. This is military-grade hardware. It's first-class. It's the Bentley of the category.
Oh, there's no question.
Yeah. But listen, what you've discovered, because I know you've been experimenting and building off of some of the coaching we gave you, what's amazing is Paul has figured out a way unlike anybody else, to deliver both a high experience, high voltage experience, a low intensity, low voltage experience, but also to control the pulses per second. So, you think PEMF, pulsed electromagnetic fields, it actually can vary the strength and the frequency. And, that matters depending upon the outcomes that you're trying to engineer.
Yeah, yeah.
And so, that's the genius of Pulsar.
Well, and I'll give you a plug here. Testimony because for me, you know, I've, you know, at one point, you know, I have to say I've never really experienced chronic pain. I was very fortunate that I, you know, like Paul, I've suffered a few accidents here and there but never long-term pain. But for me, you know, I've had a very stressful life and obviously from that sometimes you don't sleep well. And I can tell you I created a routine in Malibu where for 2 years when I was there initially where sleep was difficult, but as soon as I was introduced to this technology, and we have to give a shout out to Emilio, your head of training, is that correct?
That's correct.
He's amazing, great guy. He taught me and gave me this insider's class, and for people out there, this is stuff that they can purchase, but we'll talk about how this is something that many, not all, but many cutting-edge chiropractors do have in their practices. And you have to tell us resources where people listening can find this, you know, because I'm sure at your site you have it. But I know what helped me—
that's, that's so true. At, you know, pulsecenters.com, there's a zip code search. You can find the folks that are certified, Pulse-certified, that have the technology, and you can seek them out. But no, you, you mentioned it before, and, um, I wanted to say that it's not just now. What's happened is, is that what people are realizing, it's not just for people suffering from chronic pain.
No.
Yeah, and we're very, very proud of our role in helping people get to better outcomes through chiropractic or functional doctors. But what you know to be true is people like you've already mentioned, like a Tony Robbins, the Ben Greenfields of the world, etc., etc. Yeah, these are peak performers, peak performance, or biohacking as it's now, you know, termed, you know, longevity and optimal performance and, and so forth. And in general, how they understand it is how we understand it, which is, look, our cells are like batteries.
Yes.
And over time, whether it's through, as you alluded to, emotional stress in your life— extreme emotional stress, frankly, is worse than physical trauma.
Yep.
So whether it's through an acute injury, whatever it might be, as your cells get older and/or after they've experienced trauma, they lose their voltage, they lose their charge, if you will. And, as a result, that's where toxins and pathogens tend to find their way in cells that have lost their charge, lost their voltage. And, what PEMF does, it doesn't cure anything, it doesn't diagnose anything, it doesn't treat anything, but what it does do is allow the cells to get to their best self, their self-regulating, self-optimizing best, and that allows the body to do what it does and have these incredible outcomes.
Oh, yeah.
That's an important distinction.
Well, and to finish my testimony, I mean, you know, I had the stress, but the big issue was a lack of sleep because, you know, I was one of these people that would keep myself up at night. And I can tell you this routine I created in Malibu, now I do in Del Mar, and I do it with my family, and I do it— I have not brought the table to New York because I'm in New York right now with a couple of my clients like Al Roker. I'm very close to him, and Doreen Medley from the Housewives. And I feel like we're gonna have to get one in New York for my clients out here. But the thing is, it's been sleep for me, Greg. Absolutely.
We hear it all the time.
Greatest testimony.
You're not alone. But I'm very happy that you're having that experience. I have it myself.
Yes.
Uh, yeah, where I have very lucid dreams, you know. I dream more intensely, uh, and my sleep is much deeper. So that happens quite often. In fact, we hear from so many users, uh, that own it personally, because a lot of your listeners are affluent. They are people that can afford this, you know, this kind of, uh, commercial-grade technology, uh, for private use. And they find that that is one of the best outcomes that they, they will get. But the reality is, um, you're not alone. This is one of the big things that people are experiencing. I know that for the competitive athletes, what they tend to provide in terms of anecdotal feedback is over and over again, they're able to recover faster. So, we had— and I'm not at liberty to disclose, but for the Super Bowl that you were out for here in Atlanta, my gosh, we had— I want to say, I'll underestimate.
Well, it was a VIP event to say the least.
Almost, I think the number was pretty close to 20 of the players in the Super Bowl were using our technology specifically as a part of their training regimen and more importantly for them, their recovery regimen. So, there's no longer a question medically as to whether or not PEMF can add value. That's no longer for subject to debate. You know, what we know is that there is a reduction in inflammation, and there's going to be even more research coming out from a variety of institutions, accredited institutions, on that subject. It's exciting. And on the mitochondrial impact, which is very exciting. But just for the average layperson listening, you know, think of it this way. What this technology does, and ours in particular, is You know, you charge your phones. You know, in California, boy, they charge a lot of the cars. You know, we charge our devices. And it's come time that we really need to realize how important it is to charge ourselves.
I love that metaphor. That's brilliant. And, you know, I have to tell you, the ultimate charge in my life back when I was in my early 20s, just before that— just bridging it back to that story of me hugging trees and getting grounded with Ardith Rodell, Miss Rodell. Was that, you know, I had the privilege of working with Anthony Robbins. You know, I'd work at his home in La Jolla Farms with his son Josh. And back then, his former wife Becky Robbins was also struggling with health. And I remember working with her and her son, and Tony was at peak performance. But, you know, one of the people that I've been privileged to have in my life for over 20 years is him. And I know he's very public. I mean, we can talk about him because he's disclosed all his biohacks. And I would want to brag a little bit that he not only uses your guys' technology at home, but from my understanding of what I've read, he travels with his, his technology. Correct, Greg?
Well, you're right, and I won't get too much into it, but you're, but you're absolutely right. I— here's the— you know what's amazing? And you know this even better than I do. Yeah. Jorge Cruise, you know, when you think about the evolution of Tony's career, what impresses me the most about that gentleman is how he has become arguably one of the most learned people on human wellness. When early in his career, back in the days when you first met him, if you'd ask most people, they'd say that he was all about, you know, you know, personal power and peak performance and becoming successful.
Absolutely.
And I think, you know, today I would put him up against so many of the, you know, quote-unquote health experts that are out there. He is so dialed in. And yes, we're fortunate he was an early adopter of our technology and And this began long before my tenure as chief executive. But it's people like him and others that are passionate about, you know, wellness and not only the length of life, but, gosh, the quality of one's life. And I think that's important.
You know, and I've always respected Tony's opinion because, you know, as you said, he's someone who has a passion very much like you and I have for what we do. But he does it at a level where, you know, and I don't know how he does it because he is like the ultimate Energizer Bunny, you know. But I know as he's aging, I know he's 10 years my senior and, you know, I'm 48 right now. And as I—
I'm glad I didn't tell you how old I am.
Oh, please. Oh, please. All right.
All right.
Well, you know, you're, you're a kid in my book because your energy, you know, I have to keep up with you when we hang out because it truly is your— I know in Atlanta you were You know, it was a rockstar event there, and I don't know how you guys enjoyed such a long evening because I think I petered out by 11 o'clock because, you know, I have to be up at usually 4 or 5.
But you know, that's the reason, right?
Well, yeah, and I think one of the greatest technologies that Tony has ever talked about is yours because with this— and I'm not saying it's a shortcut to getting more sleep and all that, and I'm not saying don't sleep, guys, and I'm not saying don't exercise, But, what a great simple technology, whether you use it at someone's office, like a chiropractor, whether it's— what would you say would be the ideal? At least once a week, right, Greg? Or maybe even a session of 2 or 3 a week?
I think there's no wrong answer. There's good, better, and best.
Oh, I like that.
I love that, yeah. I have the good fortune of using it each day in my treatment room, and so I'm very spoiled in that regard.
As I am.
Thank you. Yeah, I think at a minimum, people that are dealing with— I want to be very clear, there's no magic wands with anything in life. You know that there's hard work, whether it's 8 minutes a day, you know, or whether it's, you know, making sure that you adhere to, you know, the kind of intermittent fasting schedules that you talk so much about in the recent book. You get the idea. You have to put the work in.
There's rituals. Yeah, Rituals of Health.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. This, this becomes very much a part of just general wellness behavior. It's a part of your nutrition. It's a part of hydration. I think we're in that PEM, we're in that exercise category. And so, I will say that I have talked to enough people that honestly, some people have an experience with the technology that are suffering from pain and they do have an immediate borderline miraculous experience. Yeah. So though, people have to commit to getting into a regimen. It's like anything else. You have to do it so that you can have enough of those experiences. Although the type of deep sleep that you talk about can often be experienced after just one decent session.
Well, and what I loved about when Amelia was training me in my office in Malibu was that whether it's 5 minutes or a full hour now, the ultimate it would be, you know, a longer session, at least half an hour is what would be for me a spa treatment, shall we say. But you don't need anyone there. I mean, you do it, you can watch television, you can—
that's correct—
you can be doing other things, and I love that. And just for people that are going out there and want to check this out visually, go to pulsecenters.com. It's a great website. They have all the resources there. And we've been talking about the one I have, and the one I think you use as well is the one that you lay flat on. But there's also a basic package where people can sit in a chair, right? Tell them, tell them.
The ability to deliver it in a chair. And then, what also the brilliance of Paul Webb was that he created accessories for very specific application in the body. So, for those that are suffering with knee issues or joint issues, there are specific rings that can go over that impacted area to kind of optimize the delivery of it. So, we created accessories that I think have really distanced ourselves from others that might be in this space, Jorge. But I'll give a shout out to one of our partners, Upgrade Labs. They were an early adopter of our technology. They're not far from Malibu.
Oh no, I love Dave Asprey. Shout out to Dave Asprey. He's brilliant.
Yeah, yep. And they've got two locations now with more on the way, but one of those is in the posh Upgrade Labs brand new, uh, center that they have at the Beverly Hills Hilton. And their original location, which is down in Santa Monica on the Santa Monica-Venice line. And you can go there and experience our technology. It's featured there as well. So they're terrific. But again, we— you can experience it in a short dosage of time. So there's no wrong amount. What is also important to know is you need to realize that this is a very There is no pain involved, as you can attest. It can be a very relaxing experience. And that should be in mind because I think sometimes people confuse this with like a TENS system that you might have seen or had it had applied to you in a physical therapy setting where that's direct electrical stimulation of the muscle, which if you overdo that, that's not helpful, you know, as most will tell you.
No, and I think in today's age Too many of us are overwhelmed with stress, whether it's emotional, like we said, or physical, and you need to allow your body, like a cell phone, to recharge. And to have access to this is brilliant. And what I love is that for those that want to test it out, you guys have this incredible resource on your website that you can just type in a zip code and it'll give them a location. And I want to say, for the most part, there's a a good practitioner, right, that uses your technology and has been trained in this technology all over the world, really, right? It's not just in the US, correct?
No, it's not. No one's— listen, this is, uh, this is something that is— I think we've talked about this before— it's, it is a massive movement that's growing. As I said, we're about to host this massive number of our, our top practitioners, many of which you'll find on that zip code search tool, uh, here. And these, to give you an idea, these These are the kinds of men and women, these chiropractors, these MDs, these functional docs, they're coming together really, they're already ahead of the curve and they're coming for 3 days of sharpen the saw. They're coming to invest in professional development. It's an amazing community and I feel very privileged to be a part of this movement and it's having a huge impact. Huge impact.
I'm so excited. Well, Greg, I can't thank you enough for not just your passion but for your time and And for really, I mean, making this, this technology understandable because I feel like your brilliance— and I remember this at our lunch in Malibu— is really keeping it simple but also very impactful. And I think if you guys would agree with me listening right now, I feel like this is something that I'm— I want to get back on my table. I don't have it here in New York right now. So when I'm back in California, you know, I'll be on it. But I'll tell you, it is something that for me as a trainer now for over 20 years, guys, that I would say You know, with the least amount of effort, you can get this incredible benefit. And if anyone listening— because I know so many of my clients, you know, in midlife do have some sort of aches and pains and they want to create less inflammation in their body. And obviously, you know, intermittent fasting helps you reduce inflammation. I talk about healthy oils like avocado oil and all these things that are anti-inflammatory, but they're very few modalities out there, guys, that allow you to get this impact by simply laying flat or sitting in a chair. I mean, it's as easy as laying there or sitting while you're enjoying music or a show. Or, you know, when it— as Tony Robbins always says, you take the no time, or the— he calls it the net time, I think, where it's no extra time and you can get this benefit. And it really can change your life. And I think more importantly, It's something that becomes part of someone's ritual and their lifestyle, whether, you know, I know a lot of my clients, especially the ladies, they have their scheduled appointments every week for their nails and their hair, but this is something that needs to be scheduled internally, you know.
Jorge, you said something, if I can real quick, that I think is important, and we— I won't get into how silly at times we Americans were very, we're very, we're very privileged and blessed to have the resources that we do. Yeah, but if you think about where we spend money and all the discretionary choices that we make about spending money, whether it's a $3,000 a year Starbucks habit, or, you know, our— and, you know, our shopping pilgrimage is in Los Angeles, or whatever it might be, what cars we drive and so forth. You think about investing in your health, whether it's through commitment to rituals and practices that you advocate all the time, or whether or not it's investing a little bit into your own wellness through PEMF, you can afford it. That's the one thing I can say that I'm sure no matter where your listeners are in the United States, for sure, you can find a practitioner, somebody that is owning our technology that is Pulse Certified, where you can experience this in a way that is economical and affordable just about for any budget, I can say.
Oh, absolutely. I mean, and, you know, the greatest The greatest gift I think we can give ourselves and our loved ones is our health. I learned that 20+ years ago from Tony Robbins. I was at one of his events that took me from one direction to the next, from studying something I wasn't as passionate about, political science, to health. And I'll tell you guys, health is everything. It's the greatest wealth we have. And the investment in your health is critical. Because I was recently with— I'll end with this. This is a funny little story. Steve Harvey. And, you know, he's recently moved to California and he was living in your neck of the woods there in Atlanta and Georgia and loved that and would travel up to Chicago to do his talk show. And I was with him for 5 seasons there and then in L.A. on occasion to film a little Big Shots. And, you know, now that he's kind of consolidated his life in California, he— not that he doesn't share this publicly because he has, and I know I can share this, but he is now very, very much spending, he says, 10% of his income on his health. And I feel like so many of us, you know, we may get our nails done and our hair done and a haircut, but, you know, and that's all important, it really is. I mean, it helps us feel good. But when it comes to our health, you know, we spend a fortune hopefully on certain types of foods and things that we need, as is our diet. But I would say, guys, you know, work out those cells at a cellular level to transform your energy, your vitality. And I think more than anything, you extend the quality of your life. Wouldn't you say, Greg, quality more than quantity? But I think you kind of get both, and that's why I love it.
I think you can. If you listen to— if they listen to you and they complement that with what we've talked about today with our technology, yes, you know, it's It's pretty impressive. I hate to quote— I hate to leave with a quote.
Let's do it.
In the words of Belcalis Almanzar, otherwise known as Cardi B, health is wealth, so I have to do what I do to do.
I love that. Hey, Cardi B, shout out to that. That, that lightning bolt.
Everybody, that's what I can say.
I love it. Well, thank you, Greg, for all your time, and I can't wait for our next meeting, and hopefully we'll have a great meal soon, my friend, because I miss you and send you all my best, right? Thank you so much. Thank you. Take good care. All right, peace and purpose, everyone.
I have a little quick announcement I wanted to add here at the end of the show, and that is for you to join me every single week for my 8-minute yoga routine that is on the web. It's free. Uh, I usually post it up on Instagram, so you'd have to follow me on Instagram, but you can also see it on Facebook. It's also on YouTube. On Instagram is where we put it first. It's Monday morning, You can use it all week long. It's an 8-minute full flow routine that's designed to help you work better, reduce pain in your body, improve your memory. It'll help you end up sleeping better. You'll even garden better. And you will need no equipment, although you can use kettlebells if you like. I use kettlebells at times. I love, uh, the strength option of doing that. But for many of my clients at Over 50, just using your own body weight is all you need.
You need.
Keep it simple. You don't need a fancy yoga mat. If you have one, use it, bring it out. Just, you can wear your pajamas. You know, I do, I just wear my yoga pants and then we do this and I post it on Mondays live in the morning. It's recorded, but then it's, it's posted and I, and I do it just for you. So check it out. Go to instagram.com/jorgecruise. If you're on Facebook, it's @jorgecruise. If you're on YouTube, it's @jorgecruise. And again, Jorge Cruise is spelled J-O-R-G-E G-E-C-R-U-I-S-E, and it's everywhere. And if you go to my website, I put it in my blog as well. So check it out because it is a resource that I feel is going to give you the, the empowerment you need to not just feel healthy. It's about really just living as you choose. It gives you that power, that edge to come from the right perspective that's going to give you the advantage over, say, 20-year-old, because you're going to have the confidence the endorphins, the strength for you to move forward. And I feel like sometimes, you know, we forget how powerful movement is for our own mental well-being. And if you want good mental health, yoga is life-changing. I've been doing it for 15 years because I got adhesions and knots in my back, and I had this severe pain that was debilitating. I wasn't able to work or type. So for me, it was critical. And in 8 minutes, you can transform all that, literally. And it's It's just like brushing your teeth. You do it every day. But join me, and every week there's a new one.
So check it out.
You can use it all throughout Monday through Friday. It's a great 8-minute flow. You're gonna love it. Hashtag is #8MinuteYoga. Check it out. I'm the 8 Minute Guy. I've been doing it for 20 years. Come join me, guys.
You're gonna love it.
All right, have a beautiful rest of your day.
God bless.
Take good care. Peace and purpose.
