In this solo episode of the Jorge Cruise Show, recorded May 15, 2020, the host opens with a stark health statistic—91% of people carry dangerous belly fat, which he links to lowered immunity and higher risk of chronic disease. He positions his 8‑minute method as a quick way to reduce belly fat and “reboot” one’s life. Cruise then establishes his authority, citing 25 years as a fitness, nutrition, and life strategist, his work with high‑profile clients (Oprah, Khloe Kardashian, Bill Clinton, etc.), and his status as a New York Times bestselling author. The episode launches the new “Think Fit” series, encouraging listeners to use daily affirmations. He explains the theory behind affirmations—drawing on Louise Hay, Eastern mantras, and Tony Robbins—emphasizing that spoken self‑talk can rewire the brain. Listeners are guided to repeat the phrase “I have what it takes to achieve my greatest dreams” aloud, preferably in front of a mirror. Cruise frames the COVID‑19 pandemic as a “reset button,” an opportunity to pause, reassess, and rewrite one’s future, regardless of age. He reinforces a longevity mindset, declaring that 60 is the new 30 and 70 the new 50, and stresses that health is wealth. The episode ends with a call to action: deep breathing, posture alignment, and a final affirmation.

Well, we made it to Friday, guys. It's Jorge Cruise. Welcome. It's May 15th, beautiful day in San Diego. Hopefully you're having a great start to your morning. I'm having my tea here in the morning, and, uh, I just want to thank everyone for the great response yesterday. We kicked off a new series, uh, and this is a part of it. It's called Think Fit.
We're using a hashtag called #JorgeCruiseThinkFit.
And if you are someone who responded and sent an email to me or did some comments, I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really wanted this to be something that would have an impact right away, and, and I feel like yesterday's words in our conversation about really already have taken the 'Take the first step.' That was our kind of the affirmation. If you follow me on Instagram @jorgecruise, you saw that. And you know, it's, 'I have already taken the first step.' And you know, the words that I've selected are based on a book I wrote a few years back called Stubborn Fat Gone. And the theory behind it all, if you missed some of this, was this idea that what we say to ourselves becomes reality. And I learned this 20-some years ago with Louise Hay, really one of the founding principle people in the world that really brought affirmations to the Western world, you know. And people in the Eastern world were using mantras and things like that for decades and centuries. And, uh, you know, in medieval worlds, we talk about hypnosis and hypnotizing people or incantations to put us in a state of mind. And I can tell you from my work with Anthony Robbins which is extensive. You know, I love Tony. Tony wrote the introduction of my first book almost 20 years ago, 8 Minutes in the Morning. And, uh, you know, I've met my first spouse through Anthony Robbins, and my kids are, uh, products of Tony Robbins, you could kind of say, my two sons. And, you know, for me, anyone that understands the power of thinking and words— and I feel like for you to get this, to that what we say to ourselves. How we think fit determines our direction, really. It's like our inner compass. And I will say, as a celebrity trainer, nutritionist, life strategist, you know, for 20-some years now, 25 years, I feel like the number one thing that sabotages anyone— and I don't care if it's a president of a country, a celebrity in pictures or television, anyone, or the everyday person You know, it is ourselves. And so welcome, because ThinkFit is really here to help us really lead the life we've always wanted to by getting our mind, our brain wired properly. So we're going to do this. This is day 2, so welcome. Uh, this is episode number 33 of my podcast, and, uh, today's words are pretty good. So let's get started. Uh, it says, I have what it takes to achieve my greatest dreams. I'm going to say it again, and I want you to say this with me out loud right now.
And what Louise Hay taught me years ago is you do this in front of a mirror.
If you can take your— whatever you're listening your podcast on—
into the bathroom or wherever there's a mirror in your home and say this: I have whatever it takes to achieve my greatest dreams. I have whatever it takes to achieve my greatest dreams. I'm gonna say it again.
Do it in front of a mirror if you can.
I have what it takes to achieve my greatest dreams. Now, that implies a lot. It implies that you have what you need within you now, and it implies you have a great dream. Because what I have learned in my career is that we already have what we need within us. We just need to awaken it. You know, as Anthony Robbins used to say, we have to awaken the giant within. So imagine that you have this power within you already and it's just been asleep. You just have to awaken it. So I have what it takes to achieve my greatest dreams. I am capable, you know, and you you have what it takes to achieve your greatest dreams because you have that within you now.
It's just a matter of wanting it and connecting it to something that you love.
And so that's part 2: what is that great dream, that greatest dream you have?
And think of the pandemic as a reset button that has given us all time to, to be quieter, to pause and to think inside the box, literally in our houses, right?
And think about what that means to you. What would you want now if you could rewrite history? You know, if you could rewrite your future now, which you can, you know, I'm 50 and I hope to be here 50 more years, you know. So I think of the last 50 years as a rehearsal because, and if you can think of it as a rehearsal, everything that's led you to this moment in time. And now you can begin your work, your greatest work. And it's maybe a time to reset your profession, reset your relationships, reset your body, reset everything, reboot it, you know, get better than ever. One last time, deep breath in. Say it. Stand tall, shoulders back, chest up. Yoga, we say the chakra throats and the heart, pull it up towards the sky and say this: I have what it takes to achieve my greatest dreams. So think about your life. Have you had an experience where you're like, oh my God, if I would have only known? But you know what?
Now you do. You do know right now.
I don't care what age you're at, whether you're 23 or whether you're 63, it doesn't matter. You know, 60 is Steve Harvey's 60, as I said, is the new 30.
70 is the new 50.
You know, we live in this incredible world where time is going to be extended if we are ready and we can take care of our health. Health is wealth.
I mean, I'm going to throw that in there always.
And you know you need to take care of your health. And make sure to check out my new 8-minute method that's launching today. If you check out JorgeCruise.com, that's J-O-R-G-E-C-R-U-I-S-E.com. But my greatest dream has been to help people, you know, for 20-some years, now 25 years, helping myself first, but to help others with their health and now beyond health, with their life. And this is your life that you've got to live. It's one incredible gift. That's why it's called the present, you know. But I want you to write me, email me, and let me know what your dream is. Let me know what you're affirming. I want to hear from you guys. You can, you can leave comments on the podcast, obviously, wherever you're hearing it, but email me direct.
