In this May 21, 2020 episode of the Jorge Cruise Show, host Jorge Cruise introduces his "8‑Minute Life Strategy" by focusing on an affirmation designed to help listeners discover their true purpose. He begins with a health hook, noting that 91% of people carry dangerous belly fat, which lowers immunity and raises risks for diabetes, stroke, cancer, and respiratory issues, and claims that this risk can be reduced in just eight minutes. He then shifts to a broader life‑purpose theme, explaining that happiness requires doing what you love, and that purpose can change over a lifetime. Cruise guides listeners through a three‑time repetition of the affirmation, "I will take time to be silent and see my true purpose in life," encouraging them to say it aloud, breathe deeply, and visualize an inner compass. He assigns homework: replay the podcast, write the phrase "true purpose" on a post‑it or journal, and reflect on childhood dreams and activities that bring effortless joy. Cruise shares his own story of abandoning a planned legal career after mentorship from Tony Robbins, finding his passion in fitness, nutrition, and vitality. He closes by urging repeated listening, sharing with loved ones, and committing to the "ThinkFit revolution," promising that listeners can transform their day and life by dedicating eight minutes to silent reflection.

Happy Thursday, it is May 21st, and today's quote says the following: Do the best you can and be good to yourself so that you can above all be good to others. Let's get the show started right now. It's a fact, 91% of us have a dangerous amount of belly fat, and it isn't just unsightly. When you have too much belly fat, you lower your immunity and increase your chances of diabetes, stroke, cancer, and even poor respiratory health. The good news is that you can reduce dangerous belly fat and reboot your life in just 8 minutes. Even if you don't think you have enough time, money, or willpower, I know this podcast will show you how to finally put your life together. Welcome to the Jorge Cruise Show. Well, happy Thursday. It's Jorge Cruise. Welcome to the show, guys. It's May 21st. I can't believe it. Memorial Day is almost around the corner. How you doing? Hopefully you're having a great day, a great start to your day. It's bright and early here in San Diego, and today I want to share with you something that it's taken me a while to understand, but over time, uh, the irony of life is that to be happy you got to do what you love. And oftentimes we don't know what that is, and oftentimes we don't know what our true purpose is. And whether you're in your 20s, 30s, 50s, or 70s, this can happen to all of us. And that's because life is fluid. From what I've seen working with so many incredible people and with so many people online, things change and life is a constant flow. It's this place where we learn, right? It's like a school. And sometimes the classes change, if you know what I mean, and that's okay. But we have to reassess, reevaluate. And so what I want to encourage you to do with me today on today's Think Fit is to really take on this affirmation, to give yourself a moment of quiet where the outside world is turned off and where you can actually go on the inside and, and really reflect. And this doesn't take more than 8 minutes, I promise. I'm known for, you know, 8-minute life strategy here, and this is your 8-minute life strategy. I'm even keeping today's session to 8 minutes. I think we're going to do this moving forward so we get more efficient at, um, just getting to the point of what we need. Because today, guys, if you could have your purpose ignite you on the inside, imagine what that would do for any goal you have, whether it's to lose weight, belly fat, uh, get to working out, doing interval training, doing intermittent fasting, being a better parent, taking on a new career. Maybe after this COVID-19 passes, maybe you're gonna do something new. But you got to do something that ignites you. So with that said, let me take you through the affirmation. It's pretty powerful. I'm going to say 3 times and then you say it with. All right, here we go. It says, I will take time to be silent and see my true purpose in life. I will take time to be silent and see my true purpose in life. Notice the word true purpose. A lot of times we think we have a purpose because our mom and dad's told us, or our spouses, friends. So hear these words one more time: I will take time to be silent and see my true purpose in life. With that said, it's your turn now. We're going to do it 3 times together. You know how much I like the ability of doing this in front of a mirror if you can. You may end up, uh, listening to all of these, uh, show, show segments in the bathroom. Uh, not all, but at least when we get to affirmations. If you can stand tall right now in front of a mirror, take a deep breath in, exhale out all the stress of the day. Let's make this Thursday, May 21st, your best day ever by getting you to reconnect to the part of you that is effortless, that knows your direction. It's what I would call, um, it's like your inner compass. It knows what direction makes you happy. And you may have forgotten this, or maybe now you've had time with COVID and being on lockdown to think, and now you just have to put it to paper. So let's do this together. Take a deep breath in and exhale. Let's say this now. 3 times. I will take time to be silent and see my true purpose in life. I will take time to be silent and see my true purpose in life. One more time, say it with me. I will take time to be silent and see my true purpose in life. Good job. Now here's your homework. It's simple. Re-listen to this podcast throughout the day. If you're going to make this happen, use it as a way to guide you to say what you need to say. And simply get out a sheet of paper. You're not going to need something more than a Post-it. It's a sheet of paper. I use a hardbound journal. Get a pen out and take a minute to write down true purpose in life. True purpose. And think, what is that for you? When you were younger, a kid, what was that? What was your dream? If you could do something and know you couldn't fail, what would you do with your purpose? It doesn't mean a job necessarily, but what brings you joy? Effortless joy. For me, I thought originally I was going to be a political science major, go to law school and be an attorney. I'm not doing that anymore. I was lucky that Anthony Robbins was my mentor when I was in my early 20s, and then I was fortunate to work with him, and he endorsed my work with my first book. But here I am, a fitness trainer. For me, movement, nutrition, the body, health, vitality, and sharing that with others was my passion, not law. So It's okay to reassess your life, and this is your moment. This is your day. Make this Thursday right now the day where you really find and tap into this true purpose. Come back to this show, back to this podcast throughout the day. It's okay to listen to it 2, 3, 4 times. Share it with your loved ones, and let's make this ThinkFit revolution happen. All right, guys, you can You can do this. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning. All right, have a great Thursday, and thank you for sharing this with your loved ones. Peace and purpose. Take good care. I know you can do this.
