In this Memorial Day episode of the Jorge Cruise Show, host Jorge Cruise opens with a brief greeting and a tribute to military service, noting the recent loss of his own father. He presents a startling statistic that 91% of people carry dangerous levels of belly fat, linking excess abdominal fat to weakened immunity and higher risk of diabetes, stroke, cancer, and respiratory issues. Cruise claims that this belly‑fat problem can be tackled in just eight minutes using his science‑backed shortcuts. He establishes his authority by highlighting his 25‑year career as a fitness, nutrition, and life strategist for high‑profile clients such as Oprah Winfrey, Khloe Kardashian, Bill Clinton, and Tony Robbins, and mentions his bestselling author status. The core message of the episode is that high‑performers achieve results by surrounding themselves with a supportive team—coaches, mentors, family, and friends—because the top five people we spend time with heavily influence our future. Cruise shares his own mentorship experience with Tony Robbins and emphasizes the mantra “who you’re with is who you become.” He then leads a ThinkFit affirmation exercise, repeating three times the phrase “I deserve the help I receive in my life,” encouraging listeners to internalize openness to assistance and to reassess the five most influential people in their lives. The episode concludes with a motivational quote about breaking complex tasks into small steps, a reminder to include oneself as a key supporter, and a promotion for his free weekly Jorge Cruise Report newsletter, which delivers concise life‑hack insights across his three pillars: Move Fit, Think Fit, and Eat Fit.

Well, it's Monday, and Memorial Day is definitely a special time to remember, uh, the people that have served our country. So, uh, My heart goes out to everyone that has lost loved ones in the military. And my dad was an Army guy, and I lost my dad just this December. So shout out to my dad, Mel. Thinking of him. And hopefully you have a great Memorial Day and be safe, guys. That's all I have to say, right? I've been going to the beach here and there with my kids, and let's enjoy, enjoy the day. But let's take this day to really also start a new chapter in ThinkFit where we start focusing in on the future. And last week, I want to thank everyone for all your support listening to the podcast. Uh, it was our first full week of ThinkFit, and, uh, today we'll have ThinkFit right now. I also have a great interview coming up, uh, later today that you're going to enjoy. Uh, but without further ado, let's really talk about what I just said as we open the show, this idea that I deserve the help I receive in my life. What does that mean? Well, I'll tell you what the science has shown when it comes to high performance, whether it's weight loss, whether it's achieving financial goals, whether it's improving your relationships, personal, professional, whatever it is that you're going after that's high performance in your life, if you do it by yourself, and it doesn't matter if you're Steve Harvey, you could be a superstar, and I've worked with Mr. Harvey quite a bit publicly, so I can talk about this, but I can tell you high performance people have coaches, they have a team, they have a family, whether you call them coaches, whether they're advisors, whether they're your loved ones, whether, whether they're staff, whether they're people that you go to that are friends, but having a team is critical because we are better together, guys, all right? And so a lot of times when it comes to improving your life and doing it in 8 minutes, we forget that we need a team of people. And for me, I've always been very blessed that I've had a great team of people in my life that have guided me. My first mentor was Anthony Robbins. He really was when I was in college, and then, As life would have it, I became a coach to him and his family, helped his son lose a tremendous amount of weight. This is years and years ago. And then I was honored that Tony wrote the introduction to my book, my first book, 20 years ago almost. And I stood on his shoulders, and we all need support, and we all need a coach, we all need good positive energy, because who you're with is who you become. I want you to remember that. Who you're with is who you become. And a lot of times the science has shown the top 5 people that you spend time with will predestine your future, your direction. So if you know the top 5 people in your life are negative, taking you down that wrong path, that, you know, they get angry at the, you know, the slightest inconvenience, they get upset, they're not smiling, they're not positive, that takes you down. You know, I've been in relationships where that happens, and you can't change that easily in people. Takes usually some sort of breakthrough, you know. And so if you're ready for a breakthrough, I've got a ThinkFit today that I think will give you that edge right now. And it'll give you some— it'll humble you, I think, because it'll make you realize that you, as much as are an independent person, hopefully, that you need others in your life. So let's say the following. I'm going to do it 3 times and you do it 3 times with me. Here's today's ThinkFit for our Memorial Day, guys. Take a deep breath in and hear these words. Don't say them right now. We'll do that in a moment. I deserve the help I receive in my life. I deserve the help I receive in my life. I deserve the help I receive in my life. That implies a lot. It implies that you are open to receiving help. It implies you deserve it. There's a lot of times we'll say, ah, I don't need someone's help. I don't have the money. I don't have the time. I can't call that person. I can't reach out to that person. I, I don't deserve it. I'm a loser. I'm too overweight. I'm too tired. I'm too whatever. And that will only take us down a the wrong path. You know, I have an arrow on my right hand, and it's a reminder that arrows only go forward when pulled, right? And that's life. We forget that that is life. Whether you like it or not, you're moving forward. Now, you may be stuck, but that's just in your head, because whether you like it or not, you cannot control time. You can't control the direction of your life, which is always forward. Does that make sense? So if you're moving forward, do it with the right support. So let's say the following and let's have a great Memorial Day. Use this all throughout the day. Share it with your loved ones. Here it is. Let's do it together. Deep breath in in front of a mirror. I deserve the help I receive in my life. Again, I deserve the help I receive in my life. I deserve the help I receive in my life. Feel that energy. Think about, about those words and how you deserve that help. Think of the top 5 people in your life. Start editing that list today. And here's the quote to end today's ThinkFit, guys. The secret to getting ahead is getting started. The secret to getting started is breaking your complex overwhelming tasks into small manageable tasks and then starting on the first one. So take the first step. Think of those 5 people and let's rewrite who those people should be in your life because you've got this. And the first person is yourself. Hopefully I'm the second one. Have a great Memorial Day, guys. I'll talk to you soon. Take good care.
