In this 8‑minute ThinkFit segment recorded on May 26, 2020, fitness and life strategist Jorge Cruise introduces his high‑performance living framework for busy people. He opens with a health warning that 91 % of adults carry dangerous belly fat, linking excess abdominal fat to lowered immunity and higher risk of chronic diseases, and claims that an 8‑minute daily routine can reduce it. Cruise establishes credibility by citing his 25‑year career, work with celebrities (Oprah, Khloé Kardashian, Bill Clinton, etc.), and his status as a New York Times bestselling author. He references a recent interview with fitness legend Denise Austin and emphasizes the importance of moving the body first thing in the morning, a habit he’s practiced for 25 years and wrote about in his book “8 Minutes in the Morning,” with a foreword by Tony Robbins. The core of the episode is the ThinkFit mindset: an affirmation – “I easily achieve what I set out to achieve” – delivered in a guided repetition exercise, encouraging listeners to adopt a glass‑half‑full perspective, use a mirror for self‑affirmation, and internalize a light, grateful attitude. Cruise frames this mental shift as a pillar alongside movement (MoveFit) and nutrition (EatFit). He assigns a simple homework: repeat the affirmation, share the episode with three friends, and view challenges as opportunities. The episode concludes with a promotion of the free weekly “Jorge Cruise Report,” a concise email delivering five curated shortcuts covering MoveFit, ThinkFit, and EatFit topics such as intermittent fasting and interval training. Listeners are directed to jorgecruise.com/friday to subscribe, with a claim of over a quarter‑million subscribers. The overall tone is motivational, promotional, and instructional, aiming to give listeners a quick, actionable boost toward peak performance.

Uh, so excited you're here. It's Tuesday, day after Memorial Day. Hopefully you had a chance to, uh, hear yesterday's Think Fit., as well as interview I did with fitness legend Denise Austin. She's amazing, 63 years young and has more energy than I do, which that doesn't happen too often. So thank you to Denise Austin. If she's listening, shout out to her. If you haven't seen her work in a while, or if you haven't heard of her work, she's literally, uh, for 40 years has been one of the top fitness experts in the world. She, uh, started off with Jacqueline and has said everything from ESPN to, to Lifetime Television, and she is incredible. And for a woman in her 60s, wow, amazing. Talk about peak performance living. She is truly someone living her best life. And welcome to the show, guys, because that is our intention right now. Today's quote, today's Think Fit— I call them Think Fit because I'll tell you, as much as I'm a trainer, and I'll tell you, the way we start living a peak performance life, in my opinion, over always, and listen to me on this, guys, always comes down to moving your body first thing in the morning. It is something I've been doing now for 25 years. I wrote a book 20 years ago called 8 Minutes in the Morning, and Anthony Robbins, one of the world's leading peak performance experts, wrote the introduction to it, the foreword. And so I'm always grateful to Tony because he is, uh, the man who can change your life. And give him a weekend and he can do that, you know. Give me 8 minutes and I can make a huge shift in your thinking. And that's what we're going to do with this show. Now, it starts with movement, and we do 8-minute workouts. You guys know about that. And I love that. I've been doing that for 20+ years now. But step 2, the second pillar to really living a peak performance life where you're living your best life, where your life is a life where you're happy and excited, comes down to thinking fit. And that's what we're going to do right now with an affirmation that I've selected for today that I really feel is going to give you momentum. You know, sometimes we look at a glass of water and it's half full. Sometimes we see it as half full. And sometimes if we're not having the best day and we're not surrounded with that positive energy, we see the glass as half empty. You guys know what I mean? But the glass is both and you get to choose. But ThinkFit helps us do that. And it's having a coach that we know can move us in that direction. And so I'm going to be that for you right now. And in the next few minutes here, we'll be done in 8, literally in 8 minutes. You're gonna have, I think, the momentum you need today, Tuesday, May 26th, to push yourself to what you need to do this week. So let's say the following. I'm gonna say it by myself, then I'm gonna have you repeat it for 3 times, and then I'll let you go, and then let you use this affirmation. Hopefully it's something you can share with anyone who may be stuck or seeing a glass of water half empty, 'cause it can happen. And it says the following: I easily achieve what I set out to achieve. I easily achieve what I set out to achieve. One more time. I easily— hear that word— I easily achieve what I set out to achieve. Now you may be thinking, Jorge Cruise, you don't understand what I got in front of me. It's not easy. It's not easily achievable. This is difficult. This is taking me a lot of effort. Well, I'm not saying it may be easy to do something that is complicated, but your attitude can be easy. Your attitude can be light. Your attitude can be a glass half full. That is so important in our life, because if you go into it knowing that it's going to be difficult, you're going to have a different result. And I can promise you, you won't have the momentum you need if you look at it from a glass half empty. So let's just do this together. I'd ask you to find a mirror in your house and look at yourself as we say this together now for 3 times. All right, first time right now. Take a deep breath in, exhale out through your mouth, and say the following. Deep breath in again. I easily achieve what I set out to achieve. I easily achieve what I set out to achieve. I easily achieve what I set out to achieve. That tempo, that motto, that perspective is the glass half full. With a glass half full, you have motivation, you have gratitude, you have faith, you have enthusiasm, you have the ability to take that next step. And remember, one step at a time is how we get to a journey that could take 100 miles. You do it one step at a time and you get there eventually. This affirmation will give you the, the resolve, I think, to remember that you got this. Because every other human on earth has had to go through the same thinking process. You always have to make it, make a decision. It's like a fork in the road. Is it half full? Is it half empty? So your homework today on May 26th, on this beautiful Tuesday, is to see the glass half full. Re-listen to this podcast, share it with at least 3 friends that you know need to see the glass half full. And make today a day where you, you start to, to do what you got to do with a little finesse, a little grace, a little faith, and make it easy on yourself by changing your mindset and your perspective. Because you can do this. It's as simple as thinking fit. All right, guys, have a beautiful Tuesday. Look forward to seeing you tomorrow. And with that said, go out there and make it happen. Peace and purpose. Have a great Tuesday. Now, if you have a minute more, listen in, because even though we're done with our 8-minute ThinkFit, I want to invite you to join my Jorge Cruise Report.
