In addition to web design, we also do photography. I use the Nikon D5100 to shoot my photos. Our distinct advantage in photography comes to the Photoshop skills that I bring to the table. As a web designer, I've been using Photoshop day in and day out for the last 5 years. I have very advanced skills in it. Couple that with my photography skills, And I am able to do things that even many experienced photographers are not able to do. I shoot all my photographs in the RAW photo format. This allows me to digitally manipulate the lighting, the saturation, and a lot of the digital after-effects before it becomes JPEG. When an image goes from the RAW format to the JPEG format, a lot of that data has to be altered in a post-script format. When you do it in the raw format, you're able to edit the digital information as it was first shot. So it would be like putting the special effect on the camera itself at the moment that you shot the picture rather than altering a picture that was already shot. So it's a pretty big difference. And that's just one of the many advantages digitally that I can bring to photography which many other people cannot. Thank you.
