Being a model or CrossFit athlete is a lot harder than it looks. You need to live an all-around healthy and well-balanced lifestyle to make it. While one might sound easier than the other, they both have their own obstacles and require discipline and hard work. This week, I decided to eat and exercise like model Romwe Stride for one day and CrossFit athlete Demi Bagby for another to see which diets and workouts I enjoy the most and could stick to without much effort. Honestly, we don't give enough credit to both models and CrossFit athletes. They have to work their butts off every day for competitions and shows, and for them, eating healthy and working out is a lifestyle. They have to continuously do it in order to keep up in both industries. I give them a round of applause. Donuts and pizza is something I'm not ready to sacrifice just yet. It's day 1, which means today I'm going to become Romee Strijd for a day. If you don't know already, she is a Victoria's Secret Dutch model who also owns a YouTube channel channel and is such a great role model to many girls. In terms of her diet, I went on to her YouTube channel where she posts lots of what I eat in a days, and I replicated some of the meals she made for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. So here's how it went. Good morning, you guys. So Romee Strijd likes to start off her morning by drinking a glass of hot water with some lemon juice. Just finished drinking the full glass of water. I feel very hydrated and I'm ready to start the day. So we're gonna go outside and do Romy Strijd's workouts. There you go, so much better. It's so, so cozy. It's super long too. And yeah, now let's go do her model workout. Hey everyone, so I'm outside on my deck and we're gonna start off her workout. It's super gloomy outside and really wet. I'm not a huge fan of like cold weather, but it's It's totally fine. We're gonna make it work. So I'm gonna start off with her 15-minute leg workout following her 15-minute ab workout. So let's get started. So these workouts were definitely not my cup of tea. There wasn't really anything special to them. They're very, very low impact, and they're the type of workouts I would usually do on a rest day or just a day that I, you know, don't really want to do anything intense. I'm more so of a very go, go, go type of person. I really want to make sure I sweat and make sure I really spend my workout time wisely, and this just didn't really make me feel accomplished in a way. So yeah, that was— that's that. Hi guys! Okay you guys, that was that workout. Uh, she said it was gonna be 15 minutes, but it turned out to only be 8 minutes, which— that was really easy. That was really, really quick. Oh my gosh, usually in the mornings I like to go all out, but I'm like not even sweaty now. Let's go have breakfast. Her meals are literally so, so delicious. They look so healthy and so good. So yeah, let's go to the kitchen. When people think of models, many picture tall, skinny women who only eat 400 calories a day of only vegetables and fruits. This stereotype is so far from the truth, at least the 400 calories and eating only fruits and vegetables part. A model's typical day of eating contains foods high in good fats and protein, which you'll see a lot on Romee Strijd's day of eating videos. Honestly, models eat more than what people think, but of course, to maintain their lean physique, they stay away from high-carb and processed foods. This beautiful oatmeal a try. That is really good, you guys. I'm not gonna lie, this is probably the best oatmeal I've ever made. It's not super dense, it's very nice and liquidy. Okay guys, so I'm gonna eat this oatmeal up and I will see you for snack. Hey everyone, so it is snack time. And Romwe, she likes to have some fruit paired with some nuts, which is a great combination because she says it helps balance out your blood sugar. So I just have one peach, one plum, and a few almonds for snack. And then I'm just gonna eat this up. This is a really juicy peach. So yeah, I'm just gonna eat this very beautiful snack up, and I will see you guys for lunch. For lunch, I was actually planning on having avocado toast just because Romwe likes to have that for lunch, but sadly my last avocado turned out to be rotten, so I couldn't do that. And I was so bummed that I actually was planning on postponing this video to a later date just because I didn't have my avocado. And I'm so glad I didn't because this meal turned out so, so delicious, and it honestly tops all the avocado toasts in the world in my opinion. It had a bunch of different nutrients and it was So good. Oh my gosh, look at this. So yeah, I'm gonna eat this fine beauty up and I will see you guys for another snack. Hey guys, so for my next snack I decided to have some carrots with a little bit of hummus. Romy Stride, or Romy, Romy. Honestly, I'm so bad at pronouncing names, you guys. She likes to have more vegetables and more watery, healthy carbs in the afternoon. I'm gonna eat these carrots with hummus, and I'll see you guys for dinner. Actually, dinner is actually cooking right now. I'm making a very delicious salad bowl with quinoa and zucchini and all that. So I'll see you guys once dinner is ready. For dinner, as I said, I had some quinoa salad, a bunch of it because it's salad and it's really good. And I also had some of this yellow zucchini and some potatoes on the side. It tasted so delicious and really, really nice and pretty. Models like to have a lot of vegetables, a lot of fruit, so this turned out to be a really delicious dinner and it really resembled what a model would usually eat. This might look kind of gross, but I'm brushing my teeth because my full day of eating as a model and exercising like one is finished. I'll see you guys tomorrow for day 2 where I exercise and eat like a CrossFit athlete, aka Demi Vagbai, for a whole day. I'll see you guys soon. It's day 2, and I'm going to be following Demi Bagby's workouts and day of eating. Demi Bagby is an 18-year-old calisthenics athlete, bodybuilder, gymnast, cheerleader, Ninja Warrior, and an inspiration to literally anyone interested in flips, weightlifting, and doing crazy things on a daily basis. I genuinely don't think she's even a real human. He always says hi in the morning. It's so adorable. Good morning, you guys. So CrossFit athletes, or any athletes who train a lot throughout the day, like to have a little pre-workout smoothie pre-workout drink right in the morning just to boost their energy. So I made myself this Superfood Spinach Banana Smoothie. I didn't add any protein just because I am going to have a lot of it throughout the day. So just added some superfood powder, and I have never had a green smoothie like this before, you guys. Sorry, voice crack. I'm so ready to— let's— okay, let's taste this together. Not bad at all. Honestly, I feel like without the banana, this smoothie would just be so gross, but the banana actually gives it more of a sweet taste. Interesting. Hmm, I definitely would have this every single morning, and it tastes pretty good. It tastes like a smoothie. So yeah, I'm gonna drink this up, and I'll see you guys for the CrossFit workout. Hey everyone, so right now I'm in my dad's office. We're gonna do the workout right now, but first we need to get into our workout clothes. So let's do this. There you go, you guys. We're gonna be doing one barbell workout just because they lift heavy. We're gonna do Debbie Bagby's 50-minute full body workout and her arm workout. So it's gonna be pretty fun. Let's start. Because I'm still working out at home, it definitely wasn't as fun recreating a CrossFit athlete's workout routine, just because I only had one barbell and it was of the lightest weight possible, so it really didn't push me to my limits. And I'm also sorry if my form in some of these is really bad. Apologize for that. Okay, so now you guys, we're gonna be doing the 8-minute upper body workout. Demi Bagby really likes to train her arms because most of the things she performs, most of the stunts she does, requires a lot of muscle and a lot of strength in your arms. Oh gosh, this is hard, you guys. Okay guys, so I just finished the workout. That was actually so, so sweaty. I definitely sweat more than I did yesterday. This is very intense. You can see my hair is just super wet. Now I'm feeling super hungry, so we're gonna go into the kitchen and make ourselves a CrossFit athlete's breakfast. Let's go! I couldn't find an exact diet/meal plan Demi follows, but it does say she eats lots of protein and veggies and doesn't restrict herself. When she feels like having a little dose of ice cream, she goes for it. Okay guys, so I have one omelette, or two eggs making one omelette, and 3 healthy gluten-free and vegan banana protein pancakes. So first, let's give the banana protein pancakes a go. Mmm. Okay, now let's try an omelette. Mmm. Okay guys, I'm gonna eat this breakfast up and I'll see you guys for lunch or snack, whatever the CrossFit athlete is gonna have next. As a CrossFit athlete, she trains a lot and needs to fuel her body with a proper, well-balanced diet. As I mentioned, because she doesn't have any what I eat in a day videos, I'm going to be following a meal plan from another CrossFit athlete. It gives a really good overview of all the food high-intensity athletes need to maintain and build muscle. The barbecue sauce just makes it so, so nice, and it kind of tastes like a taco bowl— a taco without a taco shell. It's snack time. I'm so, so excited. I'm gonna have this, I guess you could say, protein bar. It is this Toasted Almond Crunchy Bar. CrossFit athletes love to have protein bars throughout the day to fuel them during workouts and just when they're on the go. This has 12 grams of protein, which is so great. This is literally a full-course meal. Let's give it a try. Mmm, this also only has 1 gram of sugar, which is so healthy. I'm gonna eat this up right here, and I'll see you guys for dinner. I'm so excited, it's gonna be so good. See you guys soon. For dinner, I made myself a homemade hamburger just because it's filled with lots of protein and healthy fats, which CrossFit athletes love to have. You guys, look at this beauty! Oh my gosh, it's so big! It's so good too. Look at this. So this is my dinner. Definitely super filling, lots of toppings. Let's eat this up. Hey guys, so I'm going to end off today by eating a little dessert. I'm going to have this mint dark chocolate. As much as CrossFit athletes like to stay healthy and eat mostly lots of vegetables and protein and all that, they do like to treat themselves with some sweets. And dark chocolate is definitely the most healthiest dessert and treat out there. So I'm gonna try it right now. Mm-hmm. That about wraps up today. I really hope you enjoyed watching all the food I ate. It was really fun. I'll see you guys for the outro. Okay guys, so that about wraps up today's video. Now I'm gonna give you guys my opinion on which diet and exercise I think is the best one, and I feel like is the easiest to continuously do on a daily basis. So for exercise, I'm gonna give CrossFit athlete Demi Bagby a thumbs up. I really, really love how CrossFit athletes, they do a lot of high-intensity workouts, they use resistance training, they just do a bunch of different crazy stuff, and and it's really hardcore, it's really intense, it gets you— your body moving. I honestly prefer that. I feel like with the model workouts, they're less intense. It's more bodyweight related than actually using like weights, like barbells and all that. So yeah, for diet, however, I really, really enjoyed Model Romee Strijd's meal plan and kind of all she ate in a day. I really feel like her meals are very creative. There, there's also— there was a lot of variety in there. There was fruits, vegetables, protein. It was a mix of everything, and I really do love how she ate 6 times a day. So I'm definitely gonna give Romy Stride the thumbs up for diet. So yeah, that was, that was my little review, and I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Comment below for more video ideas, I love to do them. And yeah, see you guys in the next one. Bye!
