Eating & Working Out Like K-POP IDOLS & VICTORIA’S SECRET MODELS For a WEEK! (shocking results!?)

Julia Fedorin spends a week eating and exercising like six celebrities: K-pop idols Jennie, Suzy, and Cha Eun-woo, plus models Jasmine Tookes, Kendall Jenner, and Gigi Hadid. She finds the diets restrictive and the workouts punishing, and concludes that these extreme routines aren't realistic or healthy for most people.

This video is a collab with my friend Jasmine. Her channel is filled with lots of dance and lifestyle content that I'm sure all of you will like. In her video, Jasmine ate and exercised like some popular Dance Moms stars. Check it out and be sure to subscribe. K-pop idols and Victoria's Secret models. Two different groups with out-of-this-world beautiful people. Two groups that need discipline and hard work to achieve such toned bodies. No wonder they're the faces of social media. Everyone strives to be like them. But are their lifestyles sustainable and even worth it for people like me and you? There's only one way to find out. I'm starting off my week by eating and working out like Jennie from the world-famous K-pop group Blackpink. She's considered the fittest and most well-known from the group, and I've seen so many people eat and work out like her on YouTube. Her favorite form of exercise is Pilates, so I start out my day by doing a quick but intense Lily Savory Pilates workout, as it's great for core and lower body strength. Can you hold up? Don't need no And now we're gonna go have breakfast, which, um, I'm not really excited about because we're gonna be having bland oatmeal. Let's just go, let's just go make it. I was not surprised at all by Jennie's diet. Coming into this, I knew it was going to be fairly restrictive just for the looks of her skinny physique. On the internet though, it does say because she works out a lot, she can eat whatever she wants without the fear of gaining weight. Let's give this oatmeal a try. Honestly, the banana does make it a little better. But it does still taste pretty bland. However, she does avoid salt and any salty foods often. Then for lunch, I had Jennie's fave avocado salad. Super simple to make. I just added in some spinach, half of an avocado, bell pepper, cucumbers, and a bit of walnuts. This salad is missing some kind of seasoning. The avocado does make it pretty creamy, which I'm happy for that. Okay guys, I'm having a pretty late dinner. I usually have dinner at 5, but it's almost 8 o'clock, so for Dinner, I am kind of going against the K-pop idol diet because I have noodles. The salad has seasoning on it. Oops. And then I also have chicken, which I'm sure she eats, but this is so much more better than what they have. So yeah, so I'm ending off my day by having some fruit. Jennie, she likes to have detox juice, so she makes her own juice, but I I don't really want to do that. I don't know how to do that, so I just have some fruit. Next up, I may be working out like Suzy. Not only is she a K-pop idol, but she's also an actress who played in one of my favorite shows, While You Were Sleeping. It was so, so good. I couldn't really find what workouts Suzy likes to do as she doesn't work out as often, and her lean physique mostly comes from her diet. But I'm guessing just like every other K-pop idol, she loves to do Pilates. So I did another Pilates workout, this time from the channel Boho Beautiful Yoga. I've been focusing on Epic Key for a while now. It's been really nice to do something different. With that said though, I will still be doing Abhi Heat on top of that as I want to stay consistent. Anyways, I really did enjoy doing this workout as it was very relaxing, but it also got my heart rate up and my body sweating. I don't think I'll ever fall. Okay guys, so usually, uh, Suzy, she loves to have, um, chicken, sweet potato, and then almond milk for breakfast. At least that's what it said on the internet. But I am really picky when it comes to chicken, so instead of that, I'm just going to have another source of protein, which is scrambled eggs. So yeah, this is the breakfast. That is really good. For lunch, Suzy likes to have brown rice, salad, and chicken. At least that's according to a random website I found. For dinner, Suzy has more sweet potatoes. This time I had 2, but I wanted to spice it up a bit, so I made sweet potato fries and added some ketchup on the side. To finish off the day, I cheated a little bit more and had some grapes and cereal with almond milk. The last K-pop idol is the one and only Cha Eun-woo. He's an actor who plays in one of my favorite K-dramas, True Beauty. He's a dancer and member of the K-pop boy band Astro. Oh, and he's also the most beautiful, precious, innocent human being on this entire universe. For breakfast, he likes to have avocado toast and berries, but because I didn't have any fresh berries, I replaced them with a banana and a few dates. For workouts, I read that Cha Eun Woo, uh, Cha Eun Woo? Hopefully I'm pronouncing his name right. Cha Eun Woo prefers bodyweight workouts over lifting weights, so I did a HIIT workout from Going In An Asim. I'm so sweaty. Literally, I'm all wet. For his post-workout snack, Cha Eun Woo enjoys drinking a classic smoothie. I added banana slices, strawberries, blueberries, and granola for some extra crunch. It was so, so refreshing. Okay guys, I made a post-workout smoothie and then I also added some cereal for extra crunch or granola texture crunch. Really good. For lunch, he likes to have some sort of protein like salmon and veggies, but I just ended up having a cup of noodles with a fried egg on top because at least in the show True Beauty, that's what I saw him eating. So hopefully it's accurate enough. Then for dinner, my family bought sushi, and luckily it's Cha Eun Woo's favorite food, so we all chilling. It was so good. We are now switching our focus to the beautiful Victoria's Secret Angels, and the first one on the list is Jasmine Tookes. She's one of the newer angels but has definitely become one of the most dedicated models when it comes to health and fitness. Before officially getting her day started, she loves to do Pilates, and it's her favorite form of workout along with strength training. Because of her fast metabolism, Jasmine says she likes to stay away from anything too cardio-based, which honestly can relate. I genuinely need cardio in my life or else I'll look like a bloated potato. Anyways, after her workout, Jasmine likes to drink a protein shake, and for breakfast she would have 2 hard-boiled eggs with spinach. She says she also loves a side bowl, so I made my own version of it, adding a lot of high-fiber protein toppings. For snack, Jasmine likes to have protein bars. I decided to spice it up a bit, make my own protein slash granola bar. I use this granola mix I got from Costco. These bars were so quick and easy to make and turned out pretty delicious. I then pair the bars with an apple, as it's another snack Jasmine likes to have whenever she's on the go. For lunch, Jasmine has a protein-filled meal, so I decided to make a chickpea nourish bowl. Super delicious and definitely filled me up until dinner. Similarly to lunch, Jasmine likes to have a very nutritious and filling dinner to end up her day with a satisfied stomach and happy all-around well-being. Just like everyone on this list, she's very tall and thin, absolutely perfect for the runway. For exercise, Kendall says she's been obsessed with hot yoga, which is yoga performed under hot and humid conditions. So I did a follow-along yoga workout outside in the heat and had a sweaty old time. I then shifted into Kendall Jenner ab workout. I was really surprised by Kendall's breakfast. Unlike K-pop idols, she actually likes to have a big breakfast, which is avocado over eggs and a bowl of oatmeal. I made my fave brownie oats and then topped with a lot of fruit and of course peanut butter. Unfortunately, I ran out of avocado, so I just fried an egg and also added some green grapes on the side. For lunch, Kendall says her go-to is chicken, rice, and veggies. Very stereotypical healthy meal, but with HelloFresh, I was able to really bring it to the next level with this breaded chicken recipe. Once again, it took me only roughly 30 minutes to make, and it really did hit the spot. So, so delicious. Honestly, HelloFresh really does make eating healthy fun. For snack, I had veggies with hummus and almonds on the side. It's one of Kendall's favorites. While Kendall Jenner is a world-class model, that doesn't mean she doesn't treat herself to foods like pizza or burgers. She says it's all about balance and moderation, and it's more than okay to enjoy high-calorie foods. Eating pizza or any other takeout food once in a while is a must to keep one sane and happy. And that's exactly what I did. I ordered some pizza and had 3 big slices, enjoying this moment with myself and others. After a long stressful day at work, Kendall loves to wind down and have frozen yogurt. It's like a guilty pleasure of hers. I didn't have any frozen yogurt, so I just had some Greek yogurt with lots of fruit and some syrup to make it a little bit more sweeter. Last and final model I'm living like today is Gigi Hadid. She's definitely one of the top models in the industry, no doubt about that. For Gigi's workout, she says she prefers boxing over using machines or weights in the gym, so I did a cardio boxing workout from my fave girl with Jo. Her workouts get me dripping in sweat every single time. Just look at me go, I'm just punching away. It was pretty intense. I imagine all Victoria's Secret models have such a long skincare routine. I mean, not to sound creepy, but their faces are always glowing and their skin always looks so smooth and fresh. Now I myself am not someone who does skincare. I don't have any expensive products, but I have recently been sent this organic face oil from the brand La Causse, and wow, I feel such a badass just putting it on. My skin always feels so radiant and hydrated after. This isn't sponsored, but if you'd like to try it out, then check out the link in description. Similar to Kendall, Gigi believes a good and big breakfast is a must for a productive and happy day. That's why for her first meal, she opts for scrambled eggs on toast, quick but also filling. She also likes to add in a few veggies for a little bit more nutrition, so I had some red bell peppers as a topping. For lunch, Gigi loves her salads with of course a protein source. Now if I learned anything from this video, it's that Victoria's Secret models live, laugh, and eat salad on a daily. But I decided to ditch the casual salad for today and make my final HelloFresh meal, which are these southern pork chops with white barbecue sauce, buttery corn, and crispy potatoes. Now I'm sure Gigi would approve as her motto is Eat clean to stay fit and have a burger to stay sane. Speaking of burgers, for dinner my dad made some burgers and of course I couldn't resist. Whenever I hear the word models or K-pop idols, I picture that girls with their lives so perfect, unflawed, productive. What I don't realize is they're just like us. They have their own insecurities, stresses, and problems. Sometimes I forget these beautiful people are even human, but they are. They're just like us. You are not less. You deserve the world, the love, as much as they do. Remember that.
